My poor son’s skating career ended horribly 4yrs ago when he was 17 & competing in the National Junior Champs.
He foolishly attempted 3 ‘Quads’ in succession- as instucted by his DOUCHEBAG coach- & fell headfirst. I had to run out onto the ice myself, watching it stain red as I cradled his broken skull in my hands. Organisers quickly ushered us away, allowing other competitors happily skate through my boy’s blood.
He now mentally impaired & we’re suing the coach (who ‘retired’ soon after).

Hi figure skating lovers. I like figure skating and see a lot of videos in YouTube. Every time I find simple comments like "I think she practiced very hard." to Japanese skaters' videos are reported as a spam (sometimes more than ten comments like that are reported as a spam at once). I feel very sad and angry. At the same time, there are many insulting comments like "Mao Asada's mother is a prostitute." This is a very bad thing to do. I hope that many people feel the same.
How 'bout this everyone: I actually know how to skate and know what to look for. I'm not Korean nor Japanese. You crappy Korean and Japanese fans just take all the joy out of skating. "QUEEN YUNA!!" I can't think of a Olympic games with as much atmosphere as th Vancouver 2010 Olympics had. It was something real special many countries have their work cut out trying to top 2010. We are polite modest people here in Canada but we proved to the world that Canada is passionate, unique, and special at the 2010 games. They may have a bigger more spectacle Olympics in the future but the passion/atmosphere are people showed is not going to be topped for a very long time.

I can't think of a Olympic games with as much atmosphere as th Vancouver 2010 Olympics had. It was something real special many countries have their work cut out trying to top 2010. We are polite modest people here in Canada but we proved to the world that Canada is passionate, unique, and special at the 2010 games. They may have a bigger more spectacle Olympics in the future but the passion/atmosphere are people showed is not going to be topped for a very long time.

@mochidaifukutan It is because they did wrong at a national level. The evidence. Before a little, changed a marking standard so that she became advantageous. And some high score impossible. You should give advice after examining it.
She is a victim, too. Even if she wins the championship at injustice, she does not find happiness.
I liked her beautiful skating.
The thing which the sports recognize rivals, and improves. What they do insults all sports and us.

Yuna is a once in a lifetime talent... no on surpasses her in a combination of jumps, speed, grace, choreography, charisma and acting skills in one package. Her career as a singer definitely helps her on the ice in pressure and acting skills and emotions. Props to Kwan, Witt, and the ol' Fleming.

@iRockYouRock67 They're saying things like :"Yuna sucks, Mao Asada rules" or simply: "Korea sucks, Japan rules!". 'Course they're japaneese. And , thanks God, they're not all the same.
I've got an objectiv opinion, and I thinks it's stupid to insult a country and it's population only because they've got better skaters [Best, in this case].
And when I say objectiv, I have to mention that I'm from Europe, so I don't have problems with any side [korean or japanese].
Just respect the other people!

@AndeeDeeKate Thanks for answering, I was just curious because as far as my knowledge went, the ones that were defensive were japan fans, as in, people that are not Japanese but they defend that country. I've stumbled into that quite frequently. Now that there is some sort of competition between "South Korea" and "Japan", which is more like people that like one of the countries better. I don't think people from either country would care that much, they are superbly successful so...
