Thank you Chuck for posting your good bye to Rob, I think we fans get so caught up in what we feel, we sometimes don't realize that you guys that perform have lost a friend. I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend, Rob, and one of our musical icons.

I never new rob lost his only son to cancer, What age was his son anyone know when that happend? Rob you will be missed, R.I.P Rob Grill.

@djalsurdi67 His son was 39, almost 40 years old when he passed. He died 11 months before Rob. So sad, but they are together now, making beautiful music. Christian was a drummer :)

I saw The Grass Roots in Detroit many years ago. What an excellent show. Entertainers of this quality haven't been around for a while. I really miss them. Thank you very much for sharing. Remember that there are people everywhere in the world thinking about you and loving what you do. Peace.

Rob's passing has touched so many lives, and like I was telling Tommy James the other day when we were talking about him, its so important to me to see so many of my favorite musicians paying tribute to Rob, who has single handedly inspired me to play bass. He was a very special man who I wish I could have thanked for his music in person. I really appreciate seeing this Chuck, and bless you. :)

Very sad that Rob has passed on. I meet him once at Chicagofest back in the early 80's. He was a very kind man who took the time to talk with me. R.I.P Rob. You will be missed.

Ah, what a sweet tribute. I saw 2 Dog Night last night in Saratoga, Ca and they did a tribute to Rob, and that's the first I had known of his passing. I had the biggest crush on Rob 30 years ago (well why not? Look at him!). I was sorry to hear he suffered so much in recent years.

Thank you so much Chuck. I saw you perform in Wilkes-Barre Pa, along with Rob and the GR a year ago last march. You were all fabulous. That will be my favorite memory now of Rob. I will always remember his jokes he told at the shows...what a wonderful man!

Just got back from a concert featuring the great Dennis Tufano. He spoke about Rob and asked that everyone bow their heads in a moment of silence. It was very emotional...what a tribute. Rob has touched so many lives...thanks for posting this!
