i rember this!!!!!!!!! we just arrived back home from vacation,i was sleeping in the back seat,(since it was a long drive from florida to michigan) i awoke from a thundering roar from the clouds. i looked out the tinted window of our minivan and saw 2 swiriling clouds in front of the car. i aparently got so freaked out that i passed out XD i woke up in the morning and saw 3 or 4 big branches on our lawn and possibly a knocked over streen lamp. i will never forgive myself for missing it all.
Lol, look at that one cloud abover your house. Man, I would be like "No way! I am outta here" and I would be packing up my stereo equipment and LEAVING! That storm looks mean!
I remember these storms. I live in monroe county and were hit pretty hard. Had to seek shelter at my brother house as he had a basement. nice job on the footage!
i just got home from a soccer tournament at my school and i was acrosst eh street at my friends house and it just started pouring rain it was incredible... a few minutes later i got insid emy own house and dryed off and i here a huge bang and a powerline had come down across my back yard and my patio tabl was tipped over, and my neighbors big canopy ten thingy had been thrown into the air and landed in my yard it was crazy i totally remember this storm it was my favorite lol
not in our area they didnt. we didnt get a drop of rain till like 9:15 that night. lol i was outside when i heard thunder at like 3:40 so i went inside and played on my n64
I was in Southfield when this rolled over me. Looking west on 10 mile, I saw a funnel cloud and stopped in this office building nearby. Just before I got there the sky went from gray to green to black in less than a minute. Then I saw a curtain of white rain sweep over the area. I spent the next half hour waiting for it to pass.
Oh yeah, i remember that. Michigan got SCREWED UP man.

Actually, WDIV said sirens were going off in all the counties that day. No official warning by the NWS though.
