@ProHackerDel77 not all turtles will react the same way. my new turtles for example used to follow my finger to thier food up until about 6 months of age. my older turtle never did that. also some ppl cant train their turtles but i trained mine. they obey many commands now. turtles are all different just like us.

The turtle was not hurt, plastic vs bone, plastic loses, turtle fell into the water and before he hit the water his neck retracted into his shell, falling into the water will not hurt him, he can get hurt, what will hurt is if that water was a stone and the plastic was metal, plastic won't hurt him, it's not hard.

@DMiggz its not COMPLETELY cruel. turtles are surprizingly strong for their size and age. im sure it's fine. my turtles sometimes ventured out too far in the basking area and fell through the back but they were okay. they are just so curious.(and interested in food :3) thats what turtle shells were created for. to protect the cute creature inside :)

@afgforlife8 well depends on the size aquarium/outdoor pen you can have, most turtle species will require at least a 40 gallon aquarium, with efficient heating/basking bulbs, as well as docks to bask on< high power filter (as freshwater turtles produce a lot of waste) but look into box turtle or mud turtles they stay relatively small and have awesome personality s. if any other questions feel free to ask!

@gnikhil1987 by heat i maen like a warm sunlamp or basically under a light. by the way they dont need ALOT of water because if there is too much they could get dizzy and lose thier balance (my turtle did) (i got him out he didnt die). mt turtles like warmer places to sleep and sometimes they buried themselves in the rocks above the water. right now theydont have a tank just a small plastic box with water but sometimes they get tired of water so i take it out and replace it with a towel.thats ok

@gnikhil1987 well that depends. im not so sure how much it costs by delivery from a company, but if u buy it from a local store it will PROBABLY be around 10 dollars. i got my turtles at a dollar store for $7 each and the food cost about $3. if they dont cost around ten dollars im sorry for the misguidance but if they do have fun raising cute baby turtles :)

@gnikhil1987 well if you want to put them outside i suggest a little pond but i know how hard it is to find a good spot for it and how hard it is to make so if you want to put them outside, put them where there is indirect sunlight so that way they can feel the sun half the day and a little more shade (not total shade)in the rest. make sure the shade has at least a 50% light in it so they wont feel too cold. if you want them inside, a tank is just fine just make sure they can bask by the heat
