Hi all. Two things.

1.) The Hawks goal horn was installed in the 1982-83 season. Not sure when exactly, though.

2.) This track is from the January 11, 1987 game versus Detroit. Search "Probert Decks Nylund" and you can hear/watch the goal in context.

@rangersboy99 it's real dumbass go back to the 80's and go to a Hawks game in Chicago Stadium and when they score they use this horn. I know this because my Uncle has an old video of a recorded game between the hawks and canucks.

actually the hawks had the first goal horn in the nhl they started using rocky wirtzs boat horn when a player scored. It later carryed on and everybody started using a goal horn.
