Oh and agree with the chap earlier in that the singer's soul feelin' voice is one the main reasons why I love this track so much. That alongside the stunning violin sample that comes in about half way through. Florence's version has neither of these I'm afraid.

this song is brilliant - florence by no means ruins it - she does her individual interpretation of the song - her voice is fantastic and very individual. but yeah - this version is sick!

sorry to disagree, but even in the studio recording she is barely in tune, which is actually unbeleivable, but i suppose props to her for not using autotune

also a more important point is that its a song that just does not fit on that album at all

The Florence version is shocking..... really destroys a great track. She sings it with no passion and jus sounds so so wrong! This singer has the soul feelin like you get in a Motown track.

Remember, for this version, you want "New Voyager," from 2006, not "Now Voyager," which is an older mix.

I've solved the mystery. Versions include the orig 1986 gospel, a 1991 mix, then the 1997 mix which I think is the one from SATC, AKA the "Now Voyager Mix."
