Cool, I've been doing Magic alters for a few years. And it's cool to see parallels between the two games.

Scraping the top layer seems like an awfuly inefective way of doing things. Can't you mask off areas with masking tape and use Acetone? Thats what I do with MTG cards when I want a clean cards. Otherwise I just use a base layer of a light grey.

Golden Liquid Acrylics have been really good for me. And I also <3 Micron pens.

Great job! I've been waiting for this. I like the step-by-step instructions. The scraping part has been boggling my mind a bit. Never tried that. I always just paint the whole card white (like a base primer), then paint over that.
