@munnosable well I dont know what games you have been watching layely, but the aleague isnt that bad at marking, I saw plenty of it at the Sydney- Gold Coast game the other night, the aleague is a very physical comp also as overseas players have noted, more physical than your premiership.
@Zephyesa ok sound, i was merely making a joke. I've never watched any a league to be honest except for this clip so yeah i'm not in a position to comment, just when robbie was playing for blackburn and his later spell at liverpool, when you know, he was past it, he didn't make much of an impression. I'm not saying he wasn't great earlier in his career cos he was
@munnosable he did ok over here, he got 9 goals in one season, considering his age and the greater amount of travelling over here as ayou can imagine, its not like our teams get on abus and head down the road and 20 minutes later they are there as is the case for alot of EPL games, not all of them of course, but over here for some games its 18 hrs on a plane/airports and back, plus I think the heat got to him as well, alot of the games are played in over 26 degrees heat, some even at near 40.
@munnosable The premier league's average player gets paid about £1.1 million. In the A-league it's about a tenth of that. It's only really taken off as a competition in the last 15 years, and is no where near as established. Most people here support an Aussie team and a European team as well (for me it's Liverpool). Four-way ball code rivalry over here.
These are not that good. However I would love to sit and watch football on a grassy hill!
