umm some of the stats are wrong king kong is 50 ft godzilla is 400 ft and i dont know how that translates to storieson a building but i know that there is a great difference. weighs more than 20,000 tonnes.

OMG ! I cant believe this made it to Youtube! Super Scary Saturdays was a tv movie showcase on TBS in the 80s...and I first saw King Kong Versus Godzilla when this aired! I remember that WCW/NWA was owned by Turner then as well and Cornette representing Godzilla. Classic!

Well, think about it! This footage was probably from the 60's, and the movie came out in 1963. At the time, it was probably a big deal for both America & Japan, since Kong was created in the U.S, and Godzilla came from Japan.

Tohos King Kong is 25,000 and about 150 feet.

Godzilla was about 164 feet at the time maybe a bit over 22,000 tons.

Godzilla doesn't beath fire he fires Atomic breath.

Hell Kong would die from radiation poisoning just from being around him.

RKOs King Kong is only 25 feet, why they even talked about him I don't know.

Some people on YouTube keep talking about cross promotion and that the tale of the tape was wrong but I think the clip is all done for fun. Grandpa Al , Hayes , and Cornette are great here. People really need to lighten up and just recognize the playfulness of the show and stop overanalyzing and taking it so seriously. Its all in fun.
