the left handed guitar has a sweet mellow sound, as well as his voice, could listen all day, oh wait, I have! Think of the good company Dan is with, Orbison, Jennings, Elvis, etc
yes indeed mc.. He won his grammy in 1987 or so. Then he shows up at our local East Texas University coffie house about 4 months after receiving his award. He is truly an under rated performer. He he a quiet guy. He took all this fame in stride. didn't see much into all the fuss. Didn't care. I was glad to have met him at our table with two other student buddies had one cool beer. He went back to his small town in West Texas to rest his guitar against an oak tree near by.
The first time i've listened to Dan was about in the mid seventies when he joined forces with Ford Coley singin' a several romantic ballads." love is the answer" was a smash hit in Peru where i live. it's a shame their first two albums IN 1971 that are really great country pop didn't count with the support of the record company. i lived in the States in the 80's and became a real fan of his music. sad he passed away so young DAN SEALS .
Dan was a very special person. So unassuming but so talented. He is missed so very much. Bop takes me back to my high school days in the Grove where he went to high school. God bless his family.
icant remember the first time i heard his voice,,,but i will ''NEVER'' forget it ,,what a loss ,,may u rest in pease ''DAN'' never will be forgotten,,
What a My T Fine Song & Performance And for me what knocks me out is finding out Both Dan & I MET Elvis The very same night and had thoughts the night Elvis first appeared on our tiny B&W TV's on the Dorsey Show
Folks please check this out....Checked out at another site and said Dan passed away...March 15th. Also saw him at our local University pub and sat with us to have a beer in 1998. Tell you something. Our crowd numberd about 30 people inside. Don't know why he was there at 8 pm but he play about 7 songs. Very cool and quiet guy. We will all miss him. His ballads have a very special tag that most will recognize as only he can do.
Saw him "unplugged" at Murray State University about 6 or 7 years ago and it was one on the best shows I have ever been to. There were only a couple of hundred people in the theater, but he played for about an hour just like the place was packed!! What a guy.. What a Talent!!!
I never listen to country but I have almost every one of Dans cd's and listen to them over and over and they never grow tired. I just bought In a quiet room 2 and ordered Make it home on Amazon. I didn't even know these cds existed. If one artist influenced my life he is the one. I hope and pray he's ok. The country industry is run by a bunch of idiots.
Pray for Dan, he is recovering from Cancer. We don't need to loose another one of the most talented singers CW has ever seen. Get the chance ... see this talented man perform. T. From California...
dan seals has always been one of my favorite country singers and i want to thank you tonygottleib for putting these beautiful songs on you tube, they all tell just lovely stories about life. thanks again

Dan is already in a Hall of Fame. God called him home early. He must have needed him and he is now with some very outstanding company.
We were all blessed with having him with us for al long as he was allowed to be here.
Thank-you for posting this very wonderful preformance.

Not a mention of Dan's passing in Nashville TN. guess Nashville is too busy screwing around with Taylor Swift.

@flashbell Hi Flashbell, i agree with you and also think that they could introduce the Great Dan Seals in The Hall of Fame in Nashville!

I think country artists should get together and put a tribute album. I think Garth would do great on "You Still Move Me".

Three things:
1.TonyGottlieb, thanks for posting this—Dan Seals should be a lot better known than he is!
2.I hope Mr Seals gets well, and best wishes to his family.
3. What chords and tuning is he playing? It's driving me nuts that I can't work it out!

If Dan Seals never got inducted into The Hall of Fame of Country Music,it will be a case of gross injustice.Shame on those who run that Hall of Fame.
