lmfao0o @ "up to $3,000 to drive those", ESPN jacked up the price, and you gotta take the TRC course before you can drive the ones shown. By the time you get to drive those F3's, it's well into $7,000 these days.
@chronodriver whaaaaaat??? really? they dropped the beginner's TRC course? it used to be required before getting to the advanced course.. lol I guess they got rid of it then.
That's kind of a drawback though too, as I guess now they have crammed everything they used to teach in 2 classses over 6 days, into the 3 day course. Those 1 day courses really are more of a teaser too, I know they say you get the basics of racing and some laps, but I think training and seat time shouldn't be reduced.
@F2OOOGT we still have the basic 3 day called the "School of Racing" then the 3 day "Advanced School of Racing" that you take in that order. Similar to before with changes due to the performance demands of the much faster FJR-50. You can't just jump in this car and go fast, it demands a very modern skill set (which is the whole point right?). :)
@chronodriver - yah, I feel ya on the racecraft aspect. Not many people realize how much they have to learn to be able to drive Formula cars. I was told that the new formula russell cars are turbo'd, I bet when it spools up, it haul's assss even more than the older N/A 13b rotary models. =D

@F2OOOGT the school has new owners that insist on running it into the ground. Paul Garard is a total moron.
