So they were slave?Does that mean they were farmers?And, they escaped and become the legandary horse riding nomans and swordsmen.

Why would the Russians need to steal the Kholops way of life and dress and traditions when they could have colonisation their land by force in the manner England colonised so many other countries?Forgive me for asking that way.I just want to know.

@eddiedaskull There are a lot of documents which talk about their real history. Why do they want to steal the Circassian history? Because of Circassian genocide. They killed million and million circassians, our diaspora lives all over the world. They want to return to their homeland but Russia makes all to not permet it. Kholops began to live in our land after this genocide. Cossacs are russian slaves, the legendary horse riding nomans and swordsmen are CIRCASSIANS! Look at it on Google.

@eddiedaskull and Kholops were real slaves and not farmers! when they escaped from their tsar we helped them, we fed them. we were very kind with our "new guests" . if only we knew that they would be traitors during the longest war between Russian Empire and Caucasians (Circassians, Chechens, Ingoushes, Dagestans, etc). Sochi is a place of the most awful genocide. They want to make olympic games of 2014 there telling that it's "the legendary land of Cossacs" and hiding the truth!

Ok I got.The Kholops serfs were settlers.It was a subtle imagration invation of foriegn people.

of course your people feed them.What sane people want war and people are people goverments however are different.The two people probly intermarried and so on and in time they out numbered your people.

Perhaps, straight out war would have been more expensive and this subtle approach was more "legal" notice I put the word legal in quotes

@eddiedaskull we didn't marry them and we try to not do it today. Circassians prefer to marry Circassians or another Caucasians like Abkhazes, f.ex. They were russian serfs and they are russian serfs even today.

It seems the Russian surfs just wanted freedom and the Russian czars of course had their own agenda.Again, it seems like straight out war would simply have been too expensive.Hence, the migration of surfs
