"FIRST ALBUM".... albums don't dictate TIME JAMMING BEFORE A CROWD AS A BAND. Exodus and Metallica came about around the same time, Overkill, Venom, Anvil, and Exciter just "A LITTLE" before. Exodus and Metallica were probably closest to the "first" of what you would call "classic" thrash bands, but they were almost at the same time.

By the looks of that strat it has a humbucker at the bridge. Most of the strats exodus used were modified at custom shops and you will even see some strats they used with a Jackson logo on the headstock.

I have that same shirt Gary Holt has on, from the Bonded By Blood Tour. Saw Exodus in '85 at a place in Balto, MDcalled the SeaGull Inn.

Another band from back then has some vids on here now, VSD from Baltimore. recorded live in 1987, VSD-- Kill Your kids, Mental breakdown, Conformity Sucks and 2 other songs. Enjoy the unheard of metal.
