I just want to say I love your liquid adhesive cream, I'm VERY pale, so I hope I can find some band-aids fair enough in your store, lolz. Anyway, I don't even have to wear a wig cap with my lacefront (not a Ms.Lola creation), & I've been scared of the No-Tape for that reason. Glad you posted this, as my wig is getting a little stretched & I think the No-Tape + band-aids will extend the life of it :)
What about when you sweat or go swimming? Wouldn't the bandaids come off easily? I know you shouldn't apply a lace wig and then immediately go swimming lol, I am just wondering if this method is still covered by that though. And sweating is a true issue for me and I have oily skin so, in your opinion, would this method not be as useful to me personally?
Hello-- Perspiration will not affect the bond when applied correctly. The band-aids will lift if you swim underwater, as the force of water is too strong for any application method.
@JaCalsGal You probably just use the 99% alcohol she carries in her store, I know it worked great to remove the tape I was using until I got confidant w/ the liquid adhesives.
Ms.Lola you are by far an expert with the lace wigs. I have watched many videos and have seen them applied yours and your application technique are the best. I have never mastered lace wigs but will be taking a class next month. I hope you offer a distance learning class with dvds. i will be checking your website. This bandaid technique is genius. I have seen many women lose their hair line from too tight weaves and lace wig glue. It's all about application and proper removal. Great video!
Ms Lola's Adhesive Cream will not damage the lace of your wig. I am offering many specials on my care and maintenance products in the upcoming weeks, with great savings. I will broadcast a youtube video with details.
Hi-- I have not applied the BA method for a quick weave. It does sound feasible. I encourage you to experiment. If it works please let me know so that I can tell others who ask the same question.
Thank you! I have searched and searched for a way around shaving my hairline. I dont have enough room on my forhead for the full lace wig without it looking odd! I will definatly remember your product when I purchase my first full lace.
hi miss lola.. is it ok to use the band aid and/or cream to put in a closure. i workout a lot and im new to closures (this will be my first time) and i wanted to know if this will help it not to flap up. thank you :)
Hi-- I'm not sure if the band-aid will work with a closure, as there is little bonding area because closures are usually sewn or clipped onto surrounding hair, with only a small bonding area in the front.
Hi-- I'm not sure it the BA method will work for a closure. I encourage you to experiment. If it works please let me know so that I can tell others who ask the same question.
hi ms.lola, im seriously interested in getting ur products. Will it be good to use the band aid and/or cream just for a closure application. I work out a lot and this is gonna be my first time using closures and i want a realistic hairline, that wont flip up when i sweat.
Hi ms Lola. The color bandage and wig cap which you have on your friend appear to be ones that would suit me. Could you tell me which colors these are? I would like to order them from your website. Thank you in advance.
youtube does not allow website and email addresses in these comment boxes. So please visit my website and click the "Specifications Page" link on any page.
Hi Miss Lola, this looks great and I will definitely give it a try. However, how easy is it to remove the band aid from the hairline? Will it rip out your own hair? What do you use to remove the band aid?
Ms. lola how long of a hold do u get with this method? i can only get about 1 1/2 weeks with ur adhesive and treu blue liner tape, I don't wear full lace wigs anymore cause trying to get the nape to stay bonded for longer thatn 3 days is impossible so I only do lace fronts now but would like to know if the hold is longer with this method! Thanks and I LOVED the Chicago wig party hope u come back soon!
Hi-- This method stays bonded for me about 2 weeks. For longer periods, you can perform touchups with No Tape. Glad you enjoyed my Chicago Wig Party. We had a ball!
Hi-- Make sure to place the sticky part to the band-aid 1/8" or more in front of your natural hairline. You can also apply No Tape just in front of your hairline before placing the band-aid over it.
Definitely a try-me product, may or may not work. Didn't in my case. Great for extra bonding area, but plan to use another adhesive to hold it down, bandaid don't stick. Great concept that need tweaking. Hopefully MsLola recouped production cost and can lower the price now by half. Ace bandage can give same results. But again, Great concept. Thanks MsLola for continuing to explore better ways to adhere lace wigs.
Hi-- A small portion of the adhesive may touch the hairline if the hairline is low, however it doesn't harm the hair and releases easily from the hair when removed properly.
MsLola, will Co-Flex-NL Self-Adherent Bandages work as well? I would like to try your method, but you are out of band aids (you go, Girl)!! I wanted to start this "no shave baby hair" method right away, though
I used your no tape and supertape method. However, when I attached the front of the wig, I didn't put it completelyver the tape so that I could make "baby hair", but the hair did not stick to the tape. What do you think I should have done differently?
Thank you for responding. I did not apply it over the natural hairline. I was attempting to craete a hairline with the wig, but the (sythetic) hair would not attach to the no tape.
I have a synthetic frontal lace wig. I affixed the front of the wig on top of the no tape but no completely. I allowed a small portion of the no tape to remain exposed, in an effort to creat a hairline, but the hair from the wig itself would not stick.
That's what I was thinking. That's why I noted that it was synthetic hair. What adhesive do you suggest I use instead of the super tape (that will last at least two weeks)?
OMG! That is amazing! I gave up wearing my lace wig for a couple of months because I found that the combination of the adhesive and the tautness of the wig was quickly damaging my hairline. But this method has renewed my confidence. Thank you.
This application is wonderful but l think its goin' to be an expensive application bcz of the different stuff you need to use and the quantity..and its time consuming as well.
l wanted to order MLAC but shipping to the UK is too expensive for a 1/2 oz jar =) am disappointed..love Ms Lola though taught me everything l know xx

Hi Ms Lola what if your hair itches under the full lace wig can you itch it from the lace or can you use scalpicin through lace and wig cap?

You can apply scalpicin through the lace of the wig as long as it doesn't interfere with the bonding area.

Adhesives should never be applied over hair or they will not bond and can possible pull your hair out.
