@NoLifeTehRs atheist scientists are SAMPLES of how lost our society is. Thats why i made the connection between famous scientists and the bad things in this world. Please eat more tuna
@sephiroththewise you are changing the subject. My question is: What kind of scientists we will have in a society with intolerance, racism, ignorance, nationalism, bullies at the school, gangs in the street?
@trifulquita15 You do realize EVERYONE is atheist or at least agnosticc when it comes to science, correct? If you dont understand this, it makes sense since youre a bible-humping creationist. Atheists have nothing to apologize for. If we did, we would. Turns out free-thinking and open-mindedness is in fact NOT something to shy away from and disown.
@sephiroththewise Its a cultural phenomenon, in the Middle Age all scientists were catholics, now they are atheists. You think in the future scientists will remain atheists? Everything change dear youtuber
@trifulquita15 Its not a cultural phenomenon genius. Right after Darwin discovered evolution, more and more scientists either A. Converted to atheism/agnosticism, or B. Became atheists/agnostics before they became scientists. it isnt cultural, its understanding whats wrong with religion and understanding scientific facts.
@sephiroththewise But atheists are not just against religion. They promote the idea that God doesn't exist. Many theists are against religion. Einstein was against religion but he wasnt atheist. Religious people and atheists needs to open their mind
@trifulquita15 Crusades? the war between Israel and Palestine? 9/11? ALL were caused by religion ALL terrible wars that destroyed thousands of lives. what has science done to harm life, weaponry? well yes, however in the hands of a rational person completely harmless. religion feeds people lies and false hope whereas science opens our eyes to the wonders of the universe. don't slander something just because you are too stupid to understand.
@Drahgoon The fag you´re using means man with traits often associated with feminine behavior. If you find any sort of crying feminine, and have never cried yourself, you´re welcome to call me Fag.
Btw, I think this is the 6th thing I´ve cried about in my life, not counting when I hurt myself as a kid.
@LoverofLiszt there is nothing wrong with crying. but when you cry about two old geezers talking about god then you really need to question your sexuality.
@Drahgoon Is it feminine to cry about 2 old men talking science?
Anyway, I don´t really know what came over me. I had watched a few hours of O´Reilly and other creationist/disproving-evolution-with-the-bible videos as well as having 3 or 4 YT comment arguments about the BS that is religion. So when this came on I had low hopes on humanity, then suddenly IQ went up 80 points and reason about 2700%. I was simply overwhelmed.
@LoverofLiszt lol you cried because peole believe in god and you have low hopes for humanity because of it? You athiest are all the same you think because some believes in the all mighty ther are "developmentaly disabled" how smug.
@LoverofLiszt You only look @ the dark side of religion. You don;t see how it does good things like help drug addicts overcome there addiction or how it brings communities together.
Religious groups can do many good things, no denying that, but is this mass delusion really necessary for one to make good things? What good is it to tell people to be good or get thrown into eternal fire by a fictional higher power?
I think it was Einstein who said that if a man does good only for reward or fear of punishment he is less than a man.
@LoverofLiszt I do agree that most organized religions are corrupt and mkae people do some crazy things but that does'nt mean you can't be open to the idea of the all mighty.
@Drahgoon I AM open to the idea. I´m afraid I have to quote myself here:
"There is a possibility of an omnipotent being in the universe; it can´t be disproven sense we don´t have all knowledge there ever was, even though there´s no evidence supporting the idea. The problem, however, is in religion; there is absolutely no more reason to believe the claims any religion have about god or the universe more than mine about an almighty teapot orbiting Neptune."
@Drahgoon I have never said that here, on any other video on YT, on any other site or IRL. I´m calling people deluded for their faith in religious claims, not the belief that there might be a god in the universe. My meaning is to try and inform people about the incredible amount of flaws of religion - being factually wrong , contradicting, morally despising etc - and see how it slows down and sometimes destroy advances in close to every aria, from science to social issues.
Factual flaws: Lev 11:21-23 says insects have 4 legs, they have 6.
Contradictions: Ex 20:13 forbids murder, it´s contradicted in Ex 32:27.
Morally despising rules: Ex 20:12 says disobedient kids must be put to death.
How did Galileo get treated by the church when theorizing about the earth circling around the sun instead of vice versa? he was forced to say he was wrong and got house arrest for life. Imagine if science could´ve roamed free those few hundred years.
@LoverofLiszt OH MY GAWD?Do you know how many species of insects indeed have 4 legs?Butterflies for example, major specimen of them have 4 legs, or you are blind and insane, right?Btw, do you know anatomy of insects at all, because claiming that insects(all species) HSVE 6 LEGS IS ignorant, dear friend ....
@LoverofLiszt btw, major locusts specimen has four legs, and DO YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE that people in that period and time, who ATE insects, newer knew, or didnt even noticed that insects have ,,6 legs,,?How ignorant from you dear sir ...how awfully ignorant ....-,-'
Its funny Richard Dawkins asks Stephen Hawkings questions which knowingly have ZERO support scientifically. Both crackpots but only one is on a wheel chair.
Heres an idea that should convince religous is false. all atheist move to a specific part of the world segregated from others and we'll see who survives. I pray the theist change their minds
How could someone dislike a video with a couple of the most intelligent beings on our planet having a discussion that could very well go over your head? Listening to but a moment of their candor is inspiring to me.
it was mind-blowing to see richard dawkins and stephen hawking in the same room, but then i heard a familiar voice creeping at the end of this video... david as well?!? I have to watch this documentary!
They know how much confused are they. they cannot even say that their theory is true they have to remind themselves ."never fell in love with your theory"
Its a shame countries are run by politicians and not people like these. If we would the entire earth would be progressing towards a eutopia of peace and equality, Free of religious superstition and dogma, Free to research and develop science, Free to release the true potential of what we call homo sapiens.
@RawSwedishMeatball The framework for a system of government which was named by a silly UFO religion but advocates problem-solving and creative intelligence as criteria for regional governance. While having a democratic electoral apparatus, it differs from traditional liberal democracy by instead suggesting that candidates for office and the body electorate should meet a certain minimal criterion of problem-solving or creative intelligence.
@DamienZshadow Yes, exactly how a goverment should work. Look at bush, at obama. Both were entirely responsable for the economic crash 2008, and that wouldt have happend if they would have had the neccesary education and intelligence. Many elections ar solely based on popularity or party, which is nonsense.
@RawSwedishMeatball Someday, our judicial and electoral system will have to be revamped to be more reasonable and scientifically systematic. It is a natural form of thinking to get the highest qualified individual for the right position. But that will have to come after money is squandered out of existence. That is a pest that binds us to these silly ideals and closed systems.
@DamienZshadow Well, I agree, though a form of currency is required for modern trade, unless we find a more effective method. Though, money takes a large role when it comes to un-educated people being given power seats.
@RawSwedishMeatball I don't want to sound like Zeitgeist because a lot of their ideas are flawed, they came up with an interesting point. People fight technology because it takes away jobs when we should welcome being liberated from labor! One day we will have no need to work and in turn no need for money. In this world, everyone can focus on discussion of important topics and learn to grow and innovate a brighter future with logic and reasoning.
@DamienZshadow Yes, But it fear only a lucky few will have that chance you speak of, and probably only those who are really educated. But the future you speak of would be a beutyful one though.
@RawSwedishMeatball In this hypothetical situation everyone will have the opportunity but by definition only a few will have the chance because only a few will be the ones who stand out and choose to do something amazing with their lives. And in this hypothetical world, everyone will have the chance to be educated since education would be free since there would be no money so there would also be no excuse not to be.
@DamienZshadow True, but I find it improbable for this to happen though. I love the idea, but greed is in human nature, and will always be there unless we actually remove it from our genome.
We might get there someday, and we should start working on it today, but im a hundred percent sure you and I wont be there to see it.
@RawSwedishMeatball I feel it is an eventuality. Not to sound like a communist either but it is part of the social evolution that humanity has been tending towards. It doesn't seem like an easy place to get to but it seems inevitable. While you and I may not survive to see it, I know if humanity lives long enough it will.
@DamienZshadow Yes, probably. Though, being a communist that is actually a "true commie" is better then being a capitalist, aslong as the rest of the country is "trully communistic". Though the word has been used to describe fascist soviet the idea is solid. But I agree, but I wish for it to happen now, but I guess "be the change you want for the world."
@iltamian Yes, if that word "god" means the unknown or the underlying function of the universe. But a conscious mind intervening with its creation and caring about the praise it receives from just one particular species in a brief moment in time is rather ridiculous.
@DamienZshadow It is rather arrogant to bring something so great to our limited perception to understand rather than refining our perception to reach that level.God cannot be perceived by the limited weak human senses ,A dog can smell, hear and see better than human, to feel God you have to use your intuition and sincerity to know him, there is another dimension for that .
@iltamian Unfortunately you are supposing you know any better than I about what is beyond this reality. A dog's senses can be accurately explained in detail in how they function and what odors their olfactory receptors are identifying. My intuition told me that when I prayed and hoped there was a God of all the religions I tried, I was only talking to myself. That's my intuition; that's my most sincere confession. I wish there was a god, but alas I have "seen" none so far.
@DamienZshadow Look everybody is looking for a personal God and they try to make him custom made God.One thing is compulsory that he does not come to the lessor priority .You have to make a sincere search and i guarantee u will find him. Praying to him is the last thing to know him actually the prayer is meant to benefit for the person who is praying ,God is not in the prayer . pls do one thing " Help somebody just for God "and stop doing something bad just for God only and say it
@iltamian I do good things because I learned what will benefit my world and the people I care about. I don't do good things simply because someone is threatening me with hell and rewarding me with heaven. And you can deny my honesty and sincerity all you want but millions of disbelievers will tell you the same thing. We wanted to truly believe there was a god but when there is nothing there to convince us, then we simply don't belief. You can't force a belief simply because you want it
@DamienZshadow The day u will refuse to accept what u believe u do not deserve and u do something beneficial without any expectation of benefit in response ,that will be the day u will get introduced to God.
@iltamian But isn't that what you do all the time? Any good deed you do or evil sin you don't commit is consciously done so because you suspect someone is watching you and preparing a punishment/reward. Are you really any different than I? Humans have evolved empathy and the desire to help others in society only because it benefits themselves. We depend on others and treat them as we wish to be treated. And I don't have a belief. I have a lack a belief so there is nothing to refuse.
@DamienZshadow Good deeds just help the doer and it is only to clean someone's inner self to prepare the ground for God . We need to know God to tell us the mysteries around us and to know the reality of things and believe me when u get to know him the things will get clearer that u will have the feelings better that thousands of orgasms . The pleasures are endless and u have to see to believe . Cannot be described in the words . i can tel this with my experience .
@iltamian So basically you're still doing good deeds for yourself. Just like I am, so there is no difference to make here about my good deeds over yours. But please, how do I get know this god of yours? Can I speak to him? See him? And fortunately, we don't need God to solve our mysteries and reality. We can do the same by studying and testing to discover for ourselves. It's too bad, personal experience is a low form of evidence. Science requires more than that for proof.
@DamienZshadow My friend if i could have heard one 100% proof about anything or a theory which science claims that it is 100% true i would not have to look for God.there has never been proved anything yet or even defined .please look deeply and let me know if there is any? i have been looking all my life and could not get any yet? Good deeds is not the destination but just the road to the God. senses are not so great to comprehend God but the "intuition" real intuition .
@iltamian But that's the harsh and very true reality about the world. There is nothing we can know 100%. It's a glorious and wonderful thing because it means we will always be seeking to better understand the world and ourselves. The moment you realize you cannot absolutely know anything for certain, the more open the world will be to its secrets. Studying science is a humbling and rewarding experience in the pursuit of truth the only way we can.
@iltamian And yes, I know what good deeds are for in your religion, hence why you shouldn't criticize me for doing good deeds to indirectly help myself because you are doing the same for your "soul". So don't judge me when you're the same. Now while my senses may fail, at least I can use and explain them to a certain degree of confidence. But what is this "intuition"? You can't even demonstrate if it's there so how is that a reliable source of knowledge? It could just be in your head.
@DamienZshadow i know there are lots of other ways to get close to the reality than the conventional one? we like to contend to the easiest and available that is why drive through so popular. This way of science is really slow and hindering like most of the discoveries got by accident .Now the commercialism does not allow the society to look other ways.Doctors r given "incentives"to promote certain medicines and the research is being manipulated to suit to their benefits.Greed !!!
@iltamian Easiest? More like erroneous. Science is slow because it needs to be accurate and careful about what it concludes. No intelligent person would see a phenomena and claim to know its cause and purpose without testing it first and then making sure it is repeated by others. Scientists may not be perfect but the system of observation, hypothesis, test, conclusion, retest, and peer review is the best most trust worthy way to attain truth within a high degree of confidence.
@DamienZshadow can u explain an orgasm exactly? It is different to person to person even yr own experience u cannot explain exactly. even the colors we see ,who knows what i think about red is the same to the next person?
@iltamian An orgasm is the sudden event of discharging tension in a sexual act which is caused by a change in brain wave patterns in the limbic system usually in response to the stimulation of the genitals. Afterward, a successive release of neurohormones like oxytocin and prolactin that creates feelings of euphoria and relaxation. This is all meant to promote and encourage reproduction which has been naturally selected for since it obviously helps people proliferate in a gene pool.
@iltamian The color red is form of light with the longest wavelength in the visible light section of the electromagnetic spectrum anywhere between 630–740 nm. There are forms of light not visible to humans that are "more red" because they have even longer wavelengths like infrared waves, micro waves, and radio waves. It can be discerned by the photoreceptor known as cones that lie on the retina and 64% of them are dedicated to recognizing this wavelength and feeding it to the optic nerve.
It is quite exceptional to see two intellectual dreadnoughts holding conversation. I honestly would like to see just a conversation for an hour or so about whatever the conversation drifts too.
@LikeOLikeHInYourGut the claim that "god exists" is made with no convincing scientific evidence, and indeed, growing scientific evidence to the contrary. So, since evidence was produced on the side of atheism, the burden of proof lies with theists. It always has.
It's always a fun argument because in the end, the theist will say, "You haven't FELT the presence of god like I have! You won't understand until he touches YOU!"
I believe in God in a scientific way, for me He is not an Old Grandfather looking person ...He is out of time and space and something we cannot conceive but we can feel Him and see the creatures and perfect design as an evidence
@goro1919 So how do I get in touch with this god? Actually, let's eliminate the middle man, how do I get in touch with the thing/god that created him?
Thank you Stephen for answering my question: Will computers take over as the Einsteins of the future, No because they can't have imagination, and after he said that, you already know imagination is what made Einstein, Stephen and Richard the brilliant men they are.
@ZhaoPao DONT APOLOGIZE! youre absolutely right! I watched a video today made and posted by an arrogant teenage christian girl with IQ of a shoelace enitiled ' stephen hawking is an idiot' where she does in fact call him that then proceeds to explain how she has reached this conclusion.l laughable and yet so offensive!
@akeello You know what, I am sick of Christians demanding proof and when we give it to you, you claim it as false information. You know what, why don't you try proving he exists for a fucking change. Why is it our job to prove he doesn't exist. If I told you that there is a blue invisible bunny that follows you around, it would be ridiculous for me to demand you prove it is not real. If I am the one claiming the existence, I should provide the proof.
@LikeOLikeHInYourGut OH SO BEAUTIFULLY PUT! keep posting that to all those arrogant abusive christians who demand respect for thier beliefs but not only give none in return but actually get offended by differing beliefs and think a passage from the bible or an fucking banana is proof god exists!
@dancingnancy09 I'm so tired of all these "The One Question That Atheists Fear" vids... and the inane banana bit you mentioned. These people ironically seem obsessed by "proof" yet they won't know it or recognize it when they see it!
and yet i keep telling you that function in arbitrary. we see function because we ourselves are makers, we design things with functions all the time, but there is no reason to assume nature does this with any agency. do you know the difference between an enzyme that digests nylon and an enzyme that doesn't? absolutely nothing. both are natural mutations to existing products of the genome, except one has an arbitrary function that can be exploited. THAT'S IT.
@325982668 Nature does not order any functions. That is the point.
The possible function was made possible by the genome that is the result of preexisting orders and the genome is not the result of mutations because mutations never order anything in the genome.
If it can be exploited by function, that possibility was also made even though it was "man made", man did not make the elements.
That also does nothing for evolution which needs over 40,000 ordered changes.
I advise NO ONE to engage JungleJargon in discussion. You will constantly prove his points wrong, he will ignore your questions to him, he won't give sources, and he uses logic such as "evolution says deer become whales."
I'm warning everywhere this guy posts, because, trust me, he isn't worth it....
4:47 holy shit, i thought he was dead. the first time i saw him was on the trials of life series. it was the reproduction episode. saw my first elephant dick. still have it on VHS.
im sure glad some invalid in a wheel chair can tell us how things were like before things exisisted :0 when they cant even figure some of the simpilist things on Earth or about the Human body. How about you scientists figure out how every thing on this planet works and then move on to what it was like before time began. what he claims is not messurable you cant put his theory in a lab and test it so in the end even he relies on faith.
@Optera34 wtf are you talking about? Are you saying the fact that he's disabled is important in evaluating his ideas? What simplest things can't they figure out and why should they figure them out first and then move on to something else, in the order you specified? What is not measurable and how do you arrive in him relying on faith in the end? You committed multiple fallacies in that comment and I advise you to rethink what you said because honestly it was a steaming pile of bullshit opinions.
@Optera34 English pls. What's your quesiton? I was talking about your comment which makes no sense from a logic POV and is a pile of logical fallacies.
@Optera34 What I said was not an opinion. I pointed out the fact that your comment was full of non-backed opinions and lacked logic. Your last comment is yet another logical fallacy, instead of replying why I was wrong, you attack me saying that MY opinion doesn't make sense.
@Optera34 You obviously must be an ignorant closed minded creationist. It actually does make sense that time did not exist before the big bang. It's basic general relativity physics. How about you put down your bible, and pick up a book on basic general relativity physics, then you can come on here and talk crap about Hawking. And actually, are putting his theory to a test in a lab, a lab which is 17 miles large. It is called the Large Hadron Collider. Do you research before you talk shit, k?
@Captainchiggs not necessarily it is possible for it to be a coincidence that life happened, even so it depends on the stability of the planet life is not easy to sustain in the universe it's like some who is a painter who makes a painting and there's another painter on the planet who makes the same picture it is a coincidence.
@JungleJargon actually our lives just happened to adpat around oxygen. Thats just how it happened. Life could have easily have adapted around, say, arsenic. How do you think that some organism deep in the sea survive only on arsenic? Because thats what was abundant when energy formed the organism. Eventually those single cells might decide to combine together and rely on eachother to create a multicelled being.
I think that this is a valid answer. I was alittle confused. :)
@Captainchiggs You left out the part about the elements having the function in the first place and you said nothing of the ordering that is needed for life. You relied on the same old assumption that everything evolved even though no changes to the genome contribute any order to the genome which means there is no mechanism for evolution to ever happen. Mutations and insertions never order anything and "natural selection" can only select what has already been ordered by the genome.
@JungleJargon alright you got me on most of that. If you are talking about how element were made and how we really got our natural elements. I have a theory on that. but like you said how did we form in the first place its simply the chemical reaction of multiple elements joing ing creating single cell organism which are pushed by chemical reactions. Eventually they mutate as more elements form and some start joing together to creat multi celled organisms simply because a chemical reaction.
@Captainchiggs Thanks for the honesty. A soap bubble is not enough to form a living cell. Don't believe what you see on National Geographic or some nature show because there is far too much speculation and no science to back it up.
Remember, there is still no known mechanism for evolution so we cannot assume that it happens.
There is a big difference between chemical reactions and ordered chemical reactions.
@JungleJargon this is what is why religion was created in the first place! we are only human beings, we do not HAVE to understand everything. the creation of life is one of the greatest misteries. just because YOU think there is no scientific evidence (which there IS) does NOT NOT NOT NOT MEAN THAT GOD CREATED IT! stop saying that sience has no eveidence, when in reality, it has 102% more evidence than religion does.
@awesomeskierboy Religion is a strawman argument. It has nothing to do with "religion", it has to do with observable evidence of a Maker of all things.
The function of hydrogen in life forms proves there is a Maker of all matter.
There is a lot from science that we can understand which in and of itself is evidence of order.

@LoverofLiszt there is nothing wrong with crying. but when you cry about two old geezers talking about god then you really need to question your sexuality.
Drahgoon 2 weeks ago
@Drahgoon Is it feminine to cry about 2 old men talking science?
Anyway, I don´t really know what came over me. I had watched a few hours of O´Reilly and other creationist/disproving-evolution-with-the-bible videos as well as having 3 or 4 YT comment arguments about the BS that is religion. So when this came on I had low hopes on humanity, then suddenly IQ went up 80 points and reason about 2700%. I was simply overwhelmed.
LoverofLiszt 2 weeks ago
@LoverofLiszt lol you cried because peole believe in god and you have low hopes for humanity because of it? You athiest are all the same you think because some believes in the all mighty ther are "developmentaly disabled" how smug.
Drahgoon 2 weeks ago
@Drahgoon If worrying about people killing other people and try to force their unintellectual faith onto others is smug, then smug me up ;P
LoverofLiszt 2 weeks ago
@LoverofLiszt You only look @ the dark side of religion. You don;t see how it does good things like help drug addicts overcome there addiction or how it brings communities together.

@Drahgoon Are you going to pull the one about AA too? Then see this first:
/watch?v=uU2YliYttnQ (especially 20:47-21:50)
Religious groups can do many good things, no denying that, but is this mass delusion really necessary for one to make good things? What good is it to tell people to be good or get thrown into eternal fire by a fictional higher power?
I think it was Einstein who said that if a man does good only for reward or fear of punishment he is less than a man.
LoverofLiszt 2 weeks ago
@LoverofLiszt I do agree that most organized religions are corrupt and mkae people do some crazy things but that does'nt mean you can't be open to the idea of the all mighty.
Drahgoon 2 weeks ago
@Drahgoon I AM open to the idea. I´m afraid I have to quote myself here:
"There is a possibility of an omnipotent being in the universe; it can´t be disproven sense we don´t have all knowledge there ever was, even though there´s no evidence supporting the idea. The problem, however, is in religion; there is absolutely no more reason to believe the claims any religion have about god or the universe more than mine about an almighty teapot orbiting Neptune."
LoverofLiszt 2 weeks ago
@LoverofLiszt believe what you want to believe but don;t be smug and tell people that they are retatrded if they believe in god. thats all i ask
Drahgoon 2 weeks ago
@Drahgoon I have never said that here, on any other video on YT, on any other site or IRL. I´m calling people deluded for their faith in religious claims, not the belief that there might be a god in the universe. My meaning is to try and inform people about the incredible amount of flaws of religion - being factually wrong , contradicting, morally despising etc - and see how it slows down and sometimes destroy advances in close to every aria, from science to social issues.
LoverofLiszt 2 weeks ago
@LoverofLiszt I am not quite sure what you mean by that.
Drahgoon 2 weeks ago
@Drahgoon Here are examples of:

DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow Well, I agree, though a form of currency is required for modern trade, unless we find a more effective method. Though, money takes a large role when it comes to un-educated people being given power seats.
RawSwedishMeatball 1 month ago
@RawSwedishMeatball I don't want to sound like Zeitgeist because a lot of their ideas are flawed, they came up with an interesting point. People fight technology because it takes away jobs when we should welcome being liberated from labor! One day we will have no need to work and in turn no need for money. In this world, everyone can focus on discussion of important topics and learn to grow and innovate a brighter future with logic and reasoning.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow Yes, But it fear only a lucky few will have that chance you speak of, and probably only those who are really educated. But the future you speak of would be a beutyful one though.
RawSwedishMeatball 1 month ago
@RawSwedishMeatball In this hypothetical situation everyone will have the opportunity but by definition only a few will have the chance because only a few will be the ones who stand out and choose to do something amazing with their lives. And in this hypothetical world, everyone will have the chance to be educated since education would be free since there would be no money so there would also be no excuse not to be.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow True, but I find it improbable for this to happen though. I love the idea, but greed is in human nature, and will always be there unless we actually remove it from our genome.
We might get there someday, and we should start working on it today, but im a hundred percent sure you and I wont be there to see it.
RawSwedishMeatball 1 month ago
@RawSwedishMeatball I feel it is an eventuality. Not to sound like a communist either but it is part of the social evolution that humanity has been tending towards. It doesn't seem like an easy place to get to but it seems inevitable. While you and I may not survive to see it, I know if humanity lives long enough it will.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow Yes, probably. Though, being a communist that is actually a "true commie" is better then being a capitalist, aslong as the rest of the country is "trully communistic". iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian Yes, if that word "god" means the unknown or the underlying function of the universe. But a conscious mind intervening with its creation and caring about the praise it receives from just one particular species in a brief moment in time is rather ridiculous.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow depended how much somebody can make the moment "brief" for oneself and then God can be perceived as close as your heart.
iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian What? I'm sorry, I don't understand your comment. What are you telling me, exactly?
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow It is rather arrogant to bring something so great to our limited perception to understand rather than refining our perception to reach that level.God cannot be perceived by the limited weak human senses ,A dog can smell, hear and see better than human, to feel God you have to use your intuition and sincerity to know him, there is another dimension for that .
iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian Unfortunately you are supposing you know any better than I about what is beyond this reality. A dog's senses can be accurately explained in detail in how they function and what odors their olfactory receptors are identifying. My intuition told me that when I prayed and hoped there was a God of all the religions I tried, I was only talking to myself. That's my intuition; that's my most sincere confession. I wish there was a god, but alas I have "seen" none so far.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow Look everybody is looking for a personal God and they try to make him custom made God.One thing is compulsory that he does not come to the lessor priority .You have to make a sincere search and i guarantee u will find him. Praying to him is the last thing to know him actually the prayer is meant to benefit for the person who is praying ,God is not in the prayer . pls do one thing " Help somebody just for God "and stop doing something bad just for God only and say it
iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian I do good things because I learned what will benefit my world and the people I care about. I don't do good things simply because someone is threatening me with hell and rewarding me with heaven. And you can deny my honesty and sincerity all you want but millions of disbelievers will tell you the same thing. We wanted to truly believe there was a god but when there is nothing there to convince us, then we simply don't belief. You can't force a belief simply because you want it
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow The day u will refuse to accept what u believe u do not deserve and u do something beneficial without any expectation of benefit in response ,that will be the day u will get introduced to God.
iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian But isn't that what you do all the time? Any good deed you do or evil sin you don't commit is consciously done so because you suspect someone is watching you and preparing a punishment/reward. Are you really any different than I? Humans have evolved empathy and the desire to help others in society only because it benefits themselves. We depend on others and treat them as we wish to be treated. And I don't have a belief. I have a lack a belief so there is nothing to refuse.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow Good deeds just help the doer and it is only to clean someone's inner self to prepare the ground for God . We need to know God to tell us the mysteries around us and to know the reality of things and believe me when u get to know him the things will get clearer that u will have the feelings better that thousands of orgasms . The pleasures are endless and u have to see to believe . Cannot be described in the words . i can tel this with my experience .
iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian So basically you're still doing good deeds for yourself. Just like I am, so there is no difference to make here about my good deeds over yours. But please, how do I get know this god of yours? Can I speak to him? See him? And fortunately, we don't need God to solve our mysteries and reality. We can do the same by studying and testing to discover for ourselves. It's too bad, personal experience is a low form of evidence. Science requires more than that for proof.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow My friend if i could have heard one 100% proof about anything or a theory which science claims that it is 100% true i would not have to look for God.there has never been proved anything yet or even defined .please look deeply and let me know if there is any? i have been looking all my life and could not get any yet? Good deeds is not the destination but just the road to the God. senses are not so great to comprehend God but the "intuition" real intuition .
iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian But that's the harsh and very true reality about the world. There is nothing we can know 100%. It's a glorious and wonderful thing because it means we will always be seeking to better understand the world and ourselves. The moment you realize you cannot absolutely know anything for certain, the more open the world will be to its secrets. Studying science is a humbling and rewarding experience in the pursuit of truth the only way we can.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@iltamian And yes, I know what good deeds are for in your religion, hence why you shouldn't criticize me for doing good deeds to indirectly help myself because you are doing the same for your "soul". So don't judge me when you're the same. Now while my senses may fail, at least I can use and explain them to a certain degree of confidence. But what is this "intuition"? You can't even demonstrate if it's there so how is that a reliable source of knowledge? It could just be in your head.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@DamienZshadow i know there are lots of other ways to get close to the reality than the conventional one? we like to contend to the easiest and available that is why drive through so popular. This way of science is really slow and hindering like most of the discoveries got by accident .Now the commercialism does not allow the society to look other ways.Doctors r given "incentives"to promote certain medicines and the research is being manipulated to suit to their benefits.Greed !!!
iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian Easiest? More like erroneous. Science is slow because it needs to be accurate and careful about what it concludes. No intelligent person would see a phenomena and claim to know its cause and purpose without testing it first and then making sure it is repeated by others. Scientists may not be perfect but the system of observation, hypothesis, test, conclusion, retest, and peer review is the best most trust worthy way to attain truth within a high degree of confidence.

@DamienZshadow can u explain an orgasm exactly? It is different to person to person even yr own experience u cannot explain exactly. even the colors we see ,who knows what i think about red is the same to the next person?
iltamian 1 month ago
@iltamian An orgasm is the sudden event of discharging tension in a sexual act which is caused by a change in brain wave patterns in the limbic system usually in response to the stimulation of the genitals. Afterward, a successive release of neurohormones like oxytocin and prolactin that creates feelings of euphoria and relaxation. This is all meant to promote and encourage reproduction which has been naturally selected for since it obviously helps people proliferate in a gene pool.
DamienZshadow 1 month ago
@iltamian The color red is form of light with the longest wavelength in the visible light section of the electromagnetic spectrum anywhere between 630–740 nm. There are forms of light not visible to humans that are "more red" because they have even longer wavelengths like infrared waves, micro waves, and radio waves. It can be discerned by the photoreceptor known as cones that lie on the retina and 64% of them are dedicated to recognizing this wavelength and feeding it to the optic nerve.

You won't understand until he touches YOU!"

and yet i keep telling you that function in arbitrary. we see function because we ourselves are makers, we design things with functions all the time, but there is no reason to assume nature does this with any agency. do you know the difference between an enzyme that digests nylon and an enzyme that doesn't? absolutely nothing. both are natural mutations to existing products of the genome, except one has an arbitrary function that can be exploited. THAT'S IT.
325982668 3 months ago
@325982668 Nature does not order any functions. That is the point.
The possible function was made possible by the genome that is the result of preexisting orders and the genome is not the result of mutations because mutations never order anything in the genome.
If it can be exploited by function, that possibility was also made even though it was "man made", man did not make the elements.
That also does nothing for evolution which needs over 40,000 ordered changes.
Evolution is not science.

@JungleJargon
"The function of hydrogen in life forms proves there is a Maker of all matter."
Bullshit, that's a silly assertion.
Anyway, Who made everything that isn't matter then? The maker of all things not matter I guess?
