I remember those days of the tent revivals I know some still go on but I remember gangs coming up to the tents and thinking they would start trouble and their members would get saved, during the Hough riots in Cleveland my Dad had a tent revival and it was amazing cause the cops even said that the riots went on around his preaching and none came in, praise God, shows Gods mighty hand

This is the late Rev. AA Allen. God used him mightily in miracles, healing, and casting out devils. He was not Apostolic (Oneness). He was credentialed in the Assemblies of God but later became an independent Trinitarian Pentecostal preacher and formed his own ministerial fellowship.

I song in this choir and Rev. Gene Martin was very kind and anointed. I played organ only as stand in when needed. David Davis and Richard Page was very gifted. Rev. A.A. You're right, but so is the MsCW. The Assemblies of God and COGIC came outa Azusa separately. But the AOG ministers could not get a charter until they were ordained. So they had 2 sit under and b ordained by Mason in the COGIC. They went to the COGIC willingly. Once they were ordained, then they were able 2 go ahead and start the AOG. So they did not start the AOG cause they didn't wanna sit under a black man. There ya go!

Secondly CogicSoulSista, you sound like a person with a mental problem. William Seymour a black Apostolic bible student from Texas started the movement at Azuza St which was an old AME church. Bishop C.H. Mason started his own ministry in 1895 a sort of Baptist Holiness church, he went to Azuza and was filled took it back to his church, and caused a split with his "Black Ministers".

As much as we, people, change there are somethings that remain a constant; praise, dance, and the Holy Ghost.
