JDZ, the Office of the Inquisition was a papal institution. Although the spanish were arguably the most violent, Spain is not the only place where the inquistion occured. Actually papal inquistions still occur. Read up on the the Ustashi fascists during WW2. The Ustashi were run by franciscan monks and violently tortured and killed all non-catholics. Even their Nazi compadres thought they were too cruel.
This is ludacris. You people are a bunch of conspiracy theorists. The papal inquisition lasted 600 years. Twice as long as the spanish inquisition, and was resposible for less than half the deaths. The real truth is the executions were always part of the secular punisment, and the misson of the inquisition was to save the accused, determine their inoccence or have them repent their sins and do penence.

Has nothing to do with the Inquisition. It was civil unrest. How many do you think Henery the VIII killed? And maybe if protestants didnt label all catholics as members of the anti-christ it would have created less friction. The early reformers created alot hate on both sides that would last for centuries, even until today. And people like you that go around exaggerating the past to create more hate are NOT CHRISTIANS. You are more like Nazi's trying spread seeds hate for the jew's. You disgust me.
The pope definately played a hand in that massacre. Why do you think the vatican printed a coin celebrating the massacre of Huguenots on that day? That whole incident was incited by the Jesuit confessor of Catherine de' Medici. The Jesuits swore oaths to exterminate all "heretics and liberals" (roman catholics who do not believe in doctrines such as papal infallibility). Protestants do not call all catholics "anti-christ" just your blasphemous pope.
Henry VIII is also somebody who is disliked by most protestants. The guy was a catholic for crying out loud, only reason he split from the roman church is because the pope would not grant him a divorce; it wasnt becuase of any real religious convictions. How many protesants do you figure that wicked "Anglo-Catholic" Henry VIII the killed? You might be suprised. Real Bible believing protestant martyrs such as William Tyndale thought he was a dirty sinner. Henry was a mixed blessing at best.
Were is the positive end of the mix? What makes you think I or any catholics approve of any of the actions done by catholics or protestants in the past? What good do you do by fanning the flame? Good Queen Elizibeth I executed 800 Catholics for trying to have Mass. More then the so called "Bloody Mary" her half sister. Martin Luthers persecution of the jews was extreme beyond anything the catholic church did. The KKK terrorized and killed catholics in the 19th century.
Thousand of catholics and protestants died in civil unrest all over Europe. Why do you try and throw salt in old wounds. Stop being an angry bigot and look at the good catholics and protestants do today.
The thousands of years of inquisitions and crusades is not just "civil unrest". Besides you need to look into who was causing a lot of the animosity between catholics and protestants. Jesuit priests were acting as spies infiltrating protestant churches and governments, this angered the protestant authorities and put catholics living in protestant countries at risk. The protestants simply wanted to break away from the roman church, the papacy wasnt going to just let that happen.
The reformers had a massive propoganda campaign against the church and created tons of hiddious lies to further there cause and create contempt for the church. Im not saying it didnt go the other way too, but the protestants were far better at it.
You clearly know nothing of the crusades or the inquisition. Angry mobs of catholics and protestants killing each other is unrest. The punishment of the secular power was to stop that unrest. The inquisition was made to try and save the accused and make sure they have a fair trial and if found guilty to try and have them repent and thus avoid the secular punishment. Under the Inquisition roughly 1% were convicted.
The crusades were a war against the invading armies of the muslim world. The Byzantine emperor pleaded to the pope for help. Read a history book. Please. Why are you trying to create hate for the catholic church? We made some mistakes, the world was a hard and cruel place then. But they were smaller mistakes than was common in that time. The church had always been just a bit more enlightened then the secualr parts of the world. But believe what You want. I cant make you believe the truth.
Haha thats why the Popes also led a later crusade to sack the eastern Christians at Byzantium. Read a book. Sorry to tell ya, but infidel Saladin and his muslims acted more honorable than did the crusaders who mercilessly raped and massacred jews muslims AND catholic christians. There is a famous saying from that time when one crusader was afraid that in their bloodlust they were also killing hundreds of catholics, another crusader told him to "let God sort them out". Murderous adulterers.
You realize that there over 10 seperate crusades waged by the papacy and its luciferian knightly orders? Campaigns were directed against pagan slavs, Jews, Russian and Greek Orthodox Christians, Mongols, Cathars, Hussites, Waldensians(early protestants), Old Prussians and any other political enemies of the popes. The crusaders made murderous vows and before they left the pope blasphemously granted them indulgences for the many sins they would commit while away. Stop watering down the history.
I am familiar with all 8 or 9 crusadeds. Depending how you count them. A crusade was never waged against the orthodox christians, however during the fourth crusade and army went on a rampage and sacked Constantinople but it was a complicated political disagreement that stared the violence. The pope had nothing to do with it. All other crusadeds were ment to take back holy land or reinforce crusader states. Some were not even athorized by the vatican and were run by excommunicated kings.
Events like the childrens crusade are widley regarded as mostly myth and the facts that are known are not even close to the stories which are many and vary drasticly from story to story. You are really trying hard to find something to hate catholics for. Its sad really.
The exeptions would be Albigensian Crusade wich I am not vbery familiar with exept it had to do with a power struggle within france. The crusades in northen europe were mostly german efforts to covert other peoples in the regions. These events bare the name crusade but are hard to distinguish between normal regional conflicts. The mongols? They definitly didnt ask for any trouble.
So according to you the papacy had little or nothing to do with these conflicts? I think you need to consult a historian, or a shrink because your in hardcore denial. Your worse than most payed catholic apologists.
It was called the "dark ages" for a reason, because the pope held near absolute political and spiritual control in Europe. It was an awful period full of ignorance and hardship. Of course catholics completely deny 1000 years of history.
All right, now we are back at square 1. That is not why it was the dark ages but I already explained that. I am telling you now that I am done speaking with you on this subject. You have every right to believe what you want. If it helps you to have faith by bashing catholics than all power to you. Better to have faith and be misguided than have no faith at all.
Better to have no faith at all than to be somebody who believes the proclamations and edicts of the pope have the very authority of God himself. The errors of catholicism are more dangerous to the body of believers(the Bride of Christ) than all the pagans, heathens and infidels of the world will ever be. The most dangerous enemy is the enemy from within, not from without.
I am sad that you can not differentiate between the actions of the church and that of individuals. One interesting example is the case of Joan of Arc. The English broke eccumenical law by falsifying the trial proccess in order to find her guilty. By the time the pope could respond it was to late. He did however hold a real trial to find her innocent, declared her a martyre and accused the participants of the false trial of heresy. Thats my last example and I hope you research it. God bless.
@RockyBalboa211 That is another lie the catholic church likes to tell people and their blind subservients believe it without even looking into the matter. Education institutions in the form of a school or academy have existed in many civilizations. The earliest were in Mesopotamia during the 3rd millenium B.C.
There is another crusade going on today. Against the Seed of Abraham. and The Abrahamic Lands of Arab and Jew. Arab-Jew-and others. This crusade used its nazi mind control machine to recruit Arabs to become the foot soldiers of the Crusaders!
The zionists are the modern day crusaders, storming the middle east for their own occult purposes. This all goes back to the original crusades where the ideas of teutonic zionism were incuculated within the papal church by the various luciferian crusader orders such as the Knights Templar.
I suggest that todays 'secular' Zionist LEADERSHIP may in fact be part of the British/Vatican. However, the Jewish Zionists, are NOT. Thus, the secular Zionists are anti Jew, anti Arab and anti Abrahamic.
The secular Zionists are PSEURDOZIONISTS. working to DESTROY the Jewish State in backhanded manner.
Okay. Let's get this straight. I'm all good with religion- I happen to be a christian myself. But this is just retarded. Nazi mind control machines? Undeclared wars? Occult purposes? You do realise how munted this all sounds, don't you?
ross the truth is perhaps stranger then the fiction. Why dont you do some serious research on Nazi mind control and how it relates to the U.S government. Research Operation paperclip, the Vatican ratlines or the CIA's operation Mk-Ultra. These things are real. Why dont you perhaps research the history of the Bavarian Illuminati or the Jesuits (Society of Jesus). Or maybe you can start by reading about the basics of mass manipulation with books such as "Animal Farm", etc.
Dude, listen to yourself. Rambling on about mind control? Mass conspiracy? Nazis? World War 2 finished a long time ago. There ARE no Nazis anymore. At least, no h-core ones. All that's left is a generation of snot-nosed generation x douchebags.
How do you think the world's gonna end, by the way? My money's on zombie apocalypse. Hehe
ross or perhaps you can read up on Propaganda Due (P2) freemasonry lodge in Rome and its relation to the mafia, the Vatican Bank and several deaths and kidnappings including "Gods banker" Roberto Calvi. Perhaps you can read up on this scandal and its relation to "Operation Gladio" which was Propaganda Due and NATO's fascist terrorist cell structure set up around Europe. Something tells me that there is a lot about history and politics and religion that you are ill informed about.
I said why dont you reasearch some of that stuff I sent you. Seriously, research it and dig deep. I have never met somebody as willfully ignorant as yourself.
I have, and it's all just speculation from conspiracy theorists. Dude, you are living in a dreamworld. There is no evil overlord pulling the strings. All is as it seems. Nothing more or less. At least, not until we die. I think your religion may be preventing you from seeing this.
Speculated? WRONG, there is much speculation sure but there is also much that has been proven from court cases and numerous numerous whistleblowers such as the Prime Minister of Italy etc etc. Like I said, why dont you actually look into it instead of just deciding for yourself what you should believe.
Funny how, if anyone comes to a different conclusion than you, it is somehow wrong. You don't think maybe you're a little biased, that maybe this isn't set in stone?
The more I listen to you, the more I am convinced of your complete lunacy. There is no conspiracy, no massive coverup by the government. I'm sorry, I know that must make you feel unimportant.
No, I think you are a lazy 16 yr old kid who did not bother to actually do any research into the things I have for the past 9 years. If you did I bet you would come to a different conclusion. You are foolish and will only believe what you want to believe, there is much which you have no clue about.
I get it now. I suppose this is why you are a fundamentalist, or vice versa. You cannot see how other people can come to different conclusions given the same set of evidence. You claim I only believe what I want to believe, when the same is true for yourself.
I did look up those things you mentioned. Operation Gladio etc. All I got was a bunch of crazy dudes screaming conspiracy all over the web. I figure there is no point in talking about his anymore, this argument has no basis in reason now.
The spanish inquisition was a complex politcal system run by the king and queen of spain and was mostly outside Vatican athority. Lets talk about how difficult it was to live as a christian in lands conquered by muslims before the first crusade. Lands like Spain and Isreal and all of Northern africa and some of the greek islands. It was a condition of the times man. Quit attacking the catholic church.
Muslims were Invading Foriegners in the past and Spain continued to be raided by the Ottom forces. Muslims were enemies to Spain. Spain always wanted to reclaim their land. Muslims were prosecuted, but ussally not under the Inquisition. Some arabs who were catholics were tageted too for racial reasons. 2,200 executed by the inquisition includeing muslims and Jews.
Face it. It is not even close to the worst thing that ever happend and at the time was probaby incrediblly just by comparison.
The vatican archives were opened to external historians in 2000. only 1.8% of the convicted were executed. Torture was even more rare and was not athorized at all during most of the inquisition. The jews and muslims were expelled from Spain, but that was royal order and had nothing to do with the vatican. Just go to wikipedia. They have actually done exellent essays on both the papal and spanish Inquisition. Henry Kamen's The Spanish Inquisition is good.
I believe the point of viewing history is to take an objective eye at the events of the past and do our best to not repeat the gross mistakes. The Catholic Church is not run by an incorruptible deity - but by humans. And as humans they are capable of being corruptd by power and greed like every person. Saying you represent God does not make you holy. Not everyone that says Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
I am a fanatic when it comes to history. I appeal to you to do some deeper research and learn the true historical facts of christs church. The entire Inquisistion lasted 600 years. Less than 5000 died in total. Im not a Mathematician, but by my count thats only 8 deaths a year. This is the real figures by none catholic historians.
Some anti catholics say 40 to 50 million died. The entire population of europe at the time was barely 60 million. Think about it.
Nothing gives you the right to misrepresent historical facts in order to stymie your guilt in what Catholics have done in the past. It is universally accepted that up to 300,000 Jews were forced to leave Spain and some 50-60,000 were murdered during the Inquisition of the 1480 and 90s. This of course is only the Jewish tally. Hundreds of thousands more Muslims were also killed and persecuted during this time.
At the time of inqisitions heresy proved the most serious threat to social security. Hundreds of thousands died in uprisings and civil unrest. The royalty and goverments had absolutly zero tolerance when it came to heresy. The pope set up the inquisistion as an intervention to save people convicted of heresy. And they did. Hundreds of thousands. In protestant countries 56,000 people were killed as witches. During the whole inwuisition anout 100 peole were killed as witches.
The inquisition was used by King Ferdinand and Isabella to religiously purify Spain and rid it of imagined heretics and consolidate their power. Thousands of innocent Spaniards, Jews, Muslims and former Jews who converted to Christianity were tortured and burnt at the stake. Later Torqimada exiled the entire Jewish community from Spain.
Pope Sixtus IV gave Ferdinand permission to set up an Inquistion because Spain was threatening to withdraw support of the Vatican. Later Sixtus tried to shut it down for being over zealous. 2% of convicted peoeple were tortured. Ussally for less than 15 min. 2,200 people died. Its horrible but those were the times. It was clearly outside Vatican athourity.
80,000 jews lived in spain at the time. 40,000 decided they did not want to covert and chose to leave Spain.
No, 300,000+ Jews lived in Spain and had so for centuries. They were all forced to leave on threat of death. Nonsense about the 2% being tortured. You're making facts up. Thousands were tortured and for days on end to gain confessions. When some clergy tried to absolve some people they thought were not guilty of heresy, Torqomada had them tortured as well! The inquisition had both royal and papal approval. Up to 60,000 people died in the 1480s alone!
I challenge you to call the nearest college or university thats not a Baptist run Anti-catholic propoganda center and speak with the head of medieval history department and see what he or she thinks about the inquisitions. You will be in for a big suprise. You are spreading lies. No real historian with anykind of credentials would give you or your sources the light of day.
I would bet to differ, since my sources are universally accepted historical fact and not guilt induced falsification of history. Your religion has a lot to answer for morally. But that has nothing to do with accurate historical documentation. It would do you well to accept historic facts, however hard they may be to swallow, so that you may perhaps learn from history instead of hide from it.
Okay. you give me one source that is not biased, like a respected encyclopedia or a historian written book that is done by a respected none biased (preferably none religous) historian and I'll accept defeat. All I have to do is turn you to any modern encyclopedia. Where are your sources?
I challenge anyone to do an honest research into it and tell me it was really the massacure you think it is. It saved tens of thousands of lives. When the witch craze swept accross europe it was only the countries under the inquisition that didnt burn inoccent women by the tens of thousands. In Spain 59 women were burned as witches. In Germany 26,000. The Inquisitors misson was to save people. Anyone who didnt agree and just wanted to kill heretics was imprissoned, some times for life.
I could give you dozens of sources. There is some right here on this very site. Watch the documentary 'Most Evil Men in History: Thomas de Torqimada'. It clearly states facts which contradict yours. I believe this particular documentary was created by National Geographic. A valid and non-aligned source if ever there was one.
3000 people died in the spanish inquisition over 300 years. Many were criminals. 26,000 women were burned as witches in germany alone under protestant rule. Read a real history book you ignorant bigot.
No it wasnt. It was actually less. 2200 I believe. And some of them were criminals. It was horrible but show me one system back then that didnt use such tactics. How many witchs do you think protestant Europe burned? 26,000 in Germany alone. They didnt even get trials most of the time. You tell me why the catholic church is the one on trial here, and not secular and protestant systems wich tortured and killed many many more.
big foot, Area 51, and the fake moon landing. Give mew a break man. Catholics are not even allowed to join the freemasons or they face Excommunication. But if you need a buch of conspiracy theories to feel better about your self than believe what you what
Of all the horrible events in history the Inquisition is low on the list. I think it was wrong to torture people, but they thought they were saving souls, and stopping civil unrest. The world was dark and cruel, its easy to judge from our posistion.
Catholicism is not truly Christian, for it tells its members that it's okay to kill, to fight in wars, to hate others of another race... Read up on the history of the popes--they were evil men (and one was a woman?)! Look at the Catholics today--they've joined the military and will gladly kill another Catholic in another country.
Think I'm being too harsh? I touched a sore spot? Wake up!
Instead of sitting back, pointing fingers and wondering, remember it is the sins of men that cause these things. The blindness promised from God for disobedience to Gods laws. Fear God, be Holy, lest he make you a slave of unrighteousness.
Maybe I should not have written the above statement, since the Inquisition started before the Protestant Reformation, but many people killed were Protestants.
That is not entirely true historically, simply because the Inquisition began in Spain under Dominican rule, as even this video series points out, and Jews were the main target, the reformation inquisition came after.
I realize that now, thanks for the correction. Have you ever heard that the Inquisition spread to Mexico? I think there may have been Jews killed in a Alameda Park in Mexico City. Please respond if I am correct, and correct me if I am not.
This is true, I have an entire chart and timeline, of the Jesuit inquisition in Mexico, Jesuits had a lot of interests in Mexico and Sout America, in fact the first Jesuit experiment in socialism began in south america in their native compounds there, of course guarded in alliance with the crown kings rule that they travelled with.
Let me guess, you are a reader of Eric Jon Phelps and listen to Greg Szymanski. Me too, by the way. Lately I've been getting into the connections between different cults in America. Have you ever heard of a meeting that took place between Willis Carto (AFP) and members of the KKK and Nation of Islam? It's mentioned in a book by John Hartigan.
Actually I don't really like Eric Phelps, I don't care if he is a calvinist baptist, the guy comes across as a racist, even in his book vatican assasins in the inside cover page, he is proud because he is a "white" freeman... what's that suppose to mean??? When I did email him to get info, he writes all this racist overtone garbage I don't have anytime for. Sure I have some of Symanskis radio shows on mp3, but I don't spend a lot of time listening to the guy, I do my own research. WhoisHartigan
The reason this is happening, is because too many out there now are connecting the dots and making up their own history instead of STUDYING history, like it should be. The Jesuits did NOT start till Ignatius Loyola started it, there was no Jesuit order prior to him, PERIOD!!!... Now if you said gnosticism was adapated by Jesuits and goes way back to ancient pagan religions, okay now that I can accept, but lets not make wild statements about history please.
we can't deny the fact that catholicism rituals are based on pagan. 666 and the mark proves that. since based on pagan, their stand is that of a sand, easy to destroy. fortunately, you are one of those people who understands them so keep up the research! good luck and congratulations.
unless one is true and one is a deceiver, the church of christ will never let go of the teachings of christ! there is no such thing as a religion with one community but many beliefs. one religion, one community, one faith, one stand, one savior AND ONE GOD!!!!! long live christianity!!!!!!
Amen and AMEN to that. What even Protestants don't seem to realize is that God is NOT a calvinist and certainly NOT an Arminian God. God is at war with ALL man made religions. Calvinist protestants are just as self righteous as Arminian protestants and they are all decieved by pagan whore rome, kissing the popes ring. Look at these pharisee protestants, like Benny Hinn and James Dobson and even now President Bush is rumored to be wanting to join the catholic church, as Tony Blair did.
Oppression such as the inquisition is always and only man who sought to control others through violence and fear. The church did not reflect the fact that Jesus was compassionate and Jesus said true followers of him would experience his realism through his own presence, the Holy Spirit. If Christians had known Jesus is with them to guide them,it would have been a different world.
I don't own any media. What are you talking about? Sounds like a stereotype. What is happening is many individuals and families are discovering their family members, from Inquisition court records and family tree research, were subjected to the Inquisition and many were forced to convert against their will to the evil Catholic cult. Now we are all returning to our people's original faith.
lol tell that to the house of rothschild banker boys, they will laugh at you. Actually the Rothschild jews bailed out the vatican after land retractions in Italy, so they work together like crooks work together, the vatican will make an alliance with any crook if it furthers their dealings, but to say the vatican created zionism is just naive. Modern day political zionism goes back to Theodore Herzl and prior to that the Rothschild family, who were fake jews anyways, not real blood jews.
I heard that the Rothschilds are traditional guardians of the Vatican treasury, and I believe it. You're probably right that Zionism goes back before the Jesuits controlled it. I remember reading that Theodore Herzl or some other Zionist Jew went to Pope Pius X for support, and the Pope refused.
Well both Luther himself as one of the first protestants and the Catholic church all rejected legalistic Judaism for good reasons. What people don't seem to grasp though, is it wasn't a racial consideration, but a theological one primarily. Back then it wasn't lovey dovey ecumenicalism like now, they KNEW the Jewish pharisees instigated the crucifixion of Jesus.. of course not all jews were reprobate goats, as the apostles and first christians were all saved hebrews.

WorshipInTruth 3 years ago
I am familiar with all 8 or 9 crusadeds. Depending how you count them. A crusade was never waged against the orthodox christians, however during the fourth crusade and army went on a rampage and sacked Constantinople but it was a complicated political disagreement that stared the violence. The pope had nothing to do with it. All other crusadeds were ment to take back holy land or reinforce crusader states. Some were not even athorized by the vatican and were run by excommunicated kings.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
Events like the childrens crusade are widley regarded as mostly myth and the facts that are known are not even close to the stories which are many and vary drasticly from story to story. You are really trying hard to find something to hate catholics for. Its sad really.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
The exeptions would be Albigensian Crusade wich I am not vbery familiar with exept it had to do with a power struggle within france. The crusades in northen europe were mostly german efforts to covert other peoples in the regions. These events bare the name crusade but are hard to distinguish between normal regional conflicts. The mongols? They definitly didnt ask for any trouble.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
So according to you the papacy had little or nothing to do with these conflicts? I think you need to consult a historian, or a shrink because your in hardcore denial. Your worse than most payed catholic apologists.
WorshipInTruth 3 years ago 2
It was called the "dark ages" for a reason, because the pope held near absolute political and spiritual control in Europe. It was an awful period full of ignorance and hardship. Of course catholics completely deny 1000 years of history.
WorshipInTruth 3 years ago 4
All right, now we are back at square 1. That is not why it was the dark ages but I already explained that. I am telling you now that I am done speaking with you on this subject. You have every right to believe what you want. If it helps you to have faith by bashing catholics than all power to you. Better to have faith and be misguided than have no faith at all.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
Better to have no faith at all than to be somebody who believes the proclamations and edicts of the pope have the very authority of God himself. The errors of catholicism are more dangerous to the body of believers(the Bride of Christ) than all the pagans, heathens and infidels of the world will ever be. The most dangerous enemy is the enemy from within, not from without.
WorshipInTruth 3 years ago 7
I am sad that you can not differentiate between the actions of the church and that of individuals. One interesting example is the case of Joan of Arc. The English broke eccumenical law by falsifying the trial proccess in order to find her guilty. By the time the pope could respond it was to late. He did however hold a real trial to find her innocent, declared her a martyre and accused the participants of the false trial of heresy. Thats my last example and I hope you research it. God bless.

@WorshipInTruth: Yet, the Catholic Church was the reason for the university system and the hospital system.
RockyBalboa211 1 year ago
@RockyBalboa211 That is another lie the catholic church likes to tell people and their blind subservients believe it without even looking into the matter. Education institutions in the form of a school or academy have existed in many civilizations. The earliest were in Mesopotamia during the 3rd millenium B.C.

@RockyBalboa211 yet ironically catholic schools and some university are all private and charge school fees -- not very charitable of them..

There is another crusade going on today. Against the Seed of Abraham. and The Abrahamic Lands of Arab and Jew. Arab-Jew-and others. This crusade used its nazi mind control machine to recruit Arabs to become the foot soldiers of the Crusaders!
knowitx 3 years ago
Ahh, but the zionists are also brainwashed to carry out satans plans. I do not blame the Arabs for their anger, they have been treated like dogs.
WorshipInTruth 3 years ago
That's because they are dogs. Worthless.
proferic 2 years ago
The zionists are the modern day crusaders, storming the middle east for their own occult purposes. This all goes back to the original crusades where the ideas of teutonic zionism were incuculated within the papal church by the various luciferian crusader orders such as the Knights Templar.
WorshipInTruth 3 years ago
I suggest that todays 'secular' Zionist LEADERSHIP may in fact be part of the British/Vatican. However, the Jewish Zionists, are NOT. Thus, the secular Zionists are anti Jew, anti Arab and anti Abrahamic.
The secular Zionists are PSEURDOZIONISTS. working to DESTROY the Jewish State in backhanded manner.
knowitx 3 years ago
Okay. Let's get this straight. I'm all good with religion- I happen to be a christian myself. But this is just retarded. Nazi mind control machines? Undeclared wars? Occult purposes? You do realise how munted this all sounds, don't you?
rossthefrogboy 2 years ago
ross the truth is perhaps stranger then the fiction.
WorshipInTruth 2 years ago
Dude, listen to yourself. Rambling on about mind control? Mass conspiracy? Nazis? World War 2 finished a long time ago. There ARE no Nazis anymore. At least, no h-core ones. All that's left is a generation of snot-nosed generation x douchebags.
How do you think the world's gonna end, by the way? My money's on zombie apocalypse. Hehe
rossthefrogboy 2 years ago
ross or perhaps you can read up on Propaganda Due (P2) freemasonry lodge in Rome and its relation to the mafia, the Vatican Bank and several deaths and kidnappings including "Gods banker" Roberto Calvi. Perhaps you can read up on this scandal and its relation to "Operation Gladio" which was Propaganda Due and NATO's fascist terrorist cell structure set up around Europe. Something tells me that there is a lot about history and politics and religion that you are ill informed about.
WorshipInTruth 2 years ago
Ok, something tells me you take way too much P.
Or you are just plain batshit insane. NATO is not a terrorist network. The Vatican is not the mafia.
Seriously, mate. Get your head read. It's for your own good. I would hate to see you in the loony bin.
It puts us all to shame. Actually, it's for much more than your own good, it's for everyone's.
rossthefrogboy 2 years ago
I said why dont you reasearch some of that stuff I sent you. Seriously, research it and dig deep. I have never met somebody as willfully ignorant as yourself.
WorshipInTruth 2 years ago
I have, and it's all just speculation from conspiracy theorists. Dude, you are living in a dreamworld. There is no evil overlord pulling the strings. All is as it seems. Nothing more or less. At least, not until we die. I think your religion may be preventing you from seeing this.
rossthefrogboy 2 years ago
Speculated? WRONG, there is much speculation sure but there is also much that has been proven from court cases and numerous numerous whistleblowers such as the Prime Minister of Italy etc etc. Like I said, why dont you actually look into it instead of just deciding for yourself what you should believe.
WorshipInTruth 2 years ago
Funny how, if anyone comes to a different conclusion than you, it is somehow wrong. You don't think maybe you're a little biased, that maybe this isn't set in stone?
The more I listen to you, the more I am convinced of your complete lunacy. There is no conspiracy, no massive coverup by the government. I'm sorry, I know that must make you feel unimportant.
rossthefrogboy 2 years ago
No, I think you are a lazy 16 yr old kid who did not bother to actually do any research into the things I have for the past 9 years. If you did I bet you would come to a different conclusion. You are foolish and will only believe what you want to believe, there is much which you have no clue about.
WorshipInTruth 2 years ago
I get it now. I suppose this is why you are a fundamentalist, or vice versa. You cannot see how other people can come to different conclusions given the same set of evidence. You claim I only believe what I want to believe, when the same is true for yourself.
I did look up those things you mentioned. Operation Gladio etc. All I got was a bunch of crazy dudes screaming conspiracy all over the web. I figure there is no point in talking about his anymore, this argument has no basis in reason now.

The Vatican has a long and violent history of inquistions and tortures. As well as assassinations carried out by Jesuit priests.
WorshipInTruth 3 years ago
The spanish inquisition was a complex politcal system run by the king and queen of spain and was mostly outside Vatican athority. Lets talk about how difficult it was to live as a christian in lands conquered by muslims before the first crusade. Lands like Spain and Isreal and all of Northern africa and some of the greek islands. It was a condition of the times man. Quit attacking the catholic church.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
Muslims were Invading Foriegners in the past and Spain continued to be raided by the Ottom forces. Muslims were enemies to Spain. Spain always wanted to reclaim their land. Muslims were prosecuted, but ussally not under the Inquisition. Some arabs who were catholics were tageted too for racial reasons. 2,200 executed by the inquisition includeing muslims and Jews.
Face it. It is not even close to the worst thing that ever happend and at the time was probaby incrediblly just by comparison.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
The vatican archives were opened to external historians in 2000. only 1.8% of the convicted were executed. Torture was even more rare and was not athorized at all during most of the inquisition. The jews and muslims were expelled from Spain, but that was royal order and had nothing to do with the vatican. Just go to wikipedia. They have actually done exellent essays on both the papal and spanish Inquisition. Henry Kamen's The Spanish Inquisition is good.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
I believe the point of viewing history is to take an objective eye at the events of the past and do our best to not repeat the gross mistakes. The Catholic Church is not run by an incorruptible deity - but by humans. And as humans they are capable of being corruptd by power and greed like every person. Saying you represent God does not make you holy. Not everyone that says Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
swirl111598 3 years ago
I am a fanatic when it comes to history. I appeal to you to do some deeper research and learn the true historical facts of christs church. The entire Inquisistion lasted 600 years. Less than 5000 died in total. Im not a Mathematician, but by my count thats only 8 deaths a year. This is the real figures by none catholic historians.
Some anti catholics say 40 to 50 million died. The entire population of europe at the time was barely 60 million. Think about it.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
Nothing gives you the right to misrepresent historical facts in order to stymie your guilt in what Catholics have done in the past. It is universally accepted that up to 300,000 Jews were forced to leave Spain and some 50-60,000 were murdered during the Inquisition of the 1480 and 90s. This of course is only the Jewish tally. Hundreds of thousands more Muslims were also killed and persecuted during this time.
Blackfish100 3 years ago
At the time of inqisitions heresy proved the most serious threat to social security. Hundreds of thousands died in uprisings and civil unrest. The royalty and goverments had absolutly zero tolerance when it came to heresy. The pope set up the inquisistion as an intervention to save people convicted of heresy. And they did. Hundreds of thousands. In protestant countries 56,000 people were killed as witches. During the whole inwuisition anout 100 peole were killed as witches.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
The inquisition was used by King Ferdinand and Isabella to religiously purify Spain and rid it of imagined heretics and consolidate their power. Thousands of innocent Spaniards, Jews, Muslims and former Jews who converted to Christianity were tortured and burnt at the stake. Later Torqimada exiled the entire Jewish community from Spain.
Blackfish100 3 years ago
Pope Sixtus IV gave Ferdinand permission to set up an Inquistion because Spain was threatening to withdraw support of the Vatican. Later Sixtus tried to shut it down for being over zealous. 2% of convicted peoeple were tortured. Ussally for less than 15 min. 2,200 people died. Its horrible but those were the times. It was clearly outside Vatican athourity.
80,000 jews lived in spain at the time. 40,000 decided they did not want to covert and chose to leave Spain.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
No, 300,000+ Jews lived in Spain and had so for centuries. They were all forced to leave on threat of death. Nonsense about the 2% being tortured. You're making facts up. Thousands were tortured and for days on end to gain confessions. When some clergy tried to absolve some people they thought were not guilty of heresy, Torqomada had them tortured as well! The inquisition had both royal and papal approval. Up to 60,000 people died in the 1480s alone!
Blackfish100 3 years ago
I challenge you to call the nearest college or university thats not a Baptist run Anti-catholic propoganda center and speak with the head of medieval history department and see what he or she thinks about the inquisitions. You will be in for a big suprise. You are spreading lies. No real historian with anykind of credentials would give you or your sources the light of day.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
I would bet to differ, since my sources are universally accepted historical fact and not guilt induced falsification of history. Your religion has a lot to answer for morally. But that has nothing to do with accurate historical documentation. It would do you well to accept historic facts, however hard they may be to swallow, so that you may perhaps learn from history instead of hide from it.
Blackfish100 3 years ago
Okay. you give me one source that is not biased, like a respected encyclopedia or a historian written book that is done by a respected none biased (preferably none religous) historian and I'll accept defeat. All I have to do is turn you to any modern encyclopedia. Where are your sources?
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
I challenge anyone to do an honest research into it and tell me it was really the massacure you think it is. It saved tens of thousands of lives. When the witch craze swept accross europe it was only the countries under the inquisition that didnt burn inoccent women by the tens of thousands. In Spain 59 women were burned as witches. In Germany 26,000. The Inquisitors misson was to save people. Anyone who didnt agree and just wanted to kill heretics was imprissoned, some times for life.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
I could give you dozens of sources. There is some right here on this very site. Watch the documentary 'Most Evil Men in History: Thomas de Torqimada'. It clearly states facts which contradict yours. I believe this particular documentary was created by National Geographic. A valid and non-aligned source if ever there was one.
Blackfish100 3 years ago
Just take a look ant the encyclopedia britannica online, or wikipedia to find the truth if reading a book is much effort.
JDZwiers19 3 years ago
3000 people died in the spanish inquisition over 300 years. Many were criminals. 26,000 women were burned as witches in germany alone under protestant rule. Read a real history book you ignorant bigot.

FREEW0RLD2012 3 years ago
No it wasnt. It was actually less. 2200 I believe. And some of them were criminals. It was horrible but show me one system back then that didnt use such tactics. How many witchs do you think protestant Europe burned? 26,000 in Germany alone. They didnt even get trials most of the time. You tell me why the catholic church is the one on trial here, and not secular and protestant systems wich tortured and killed many many more.

The main objective of the Inquisition was to quell the reformation. Most of the people killed were actually Protestants Lutherans, not Jews.
ccf1971 4 years ago
Maybe I should not have written the above statement, since the Inquisition started before the Protestant Reformation, but many people killed were Protestants.
ccf1971 3 years ago
That is not entirely true historically, simply because the Inquisition began in Spain under Dominican rule, as even this video series points out, and Jews were the main target, the reformation inquisition came after.
jesuitinfiltrator 3 years ago
I realize that now, thanks for the correction. Have you ever heard that the Inquisition spread to Mexico? I think there may have been Jews killed in a Alameda Park in Mexico City. Please respond if I am correct, and correct me if I am not.
ccf1971 3 years ago
This is true, I have an entire chart and timeline, of the Jesuit inquisition in Mexico, Jesuits had a lot of interests in Mexico and Sout America, in fact the first Jesuit experiment in socialism began in south america in their native compounds there, of course guarded in alliance with the crown kings rule that they travelled with.
jesuitinfiltrator 3 years ago

The Catholic Church is not Christian. The Vatican and Catholicism actually go back way before Christianity.

Come on; let's avoid ANY bullshiting here. PLEASE!

The reason this is happening, is because too many out there now are connecting the dots and making up their own history instead of STUDYING history, like it should be. The Jesuits did NOT start till Ignatius Loyola started it, there was no Jesuit order prior to him, PERIOD!!!... Now if you said gnosticism was adapated by Jesuits and goes way back to ancient pagan religions, okay now that I can accept, but lets not make wild statements about history please.
jesuitinfiltrator 3 years ago
we can't deny the fact that catholicism rituals are based on pagan. 666 and the mark proves that. since based on pagan, their stand is that of a sand, easy to destroy. fortunately, you are one of those people who understands them so keep up the research! good luck and congratulations.

The Jews that are in control are placed there by the Vatican to make it appear that there is an international Zionist conspiracy.
The United Nations once passed proposition 3379 which declared "Zionism is Racism" in an attempt to further this.
ccf1971 4 years ago
lol tell that to the house of rothschild banker boys, they will laugh at you. Actually the Rothschild jews bailed out the vatican after land retractions in Italy, so they work together like crooks work together, the vatican will make an alliance with any crook if it furthers their dealings, but to say the vatican created zionism is just naive. Modern day political zionism goes back to Theodore Herzl and prior to that the Rothschild family, who were fake jews anyways, not real blood jews.
jesuitinfiltrator 3 years ago
I heard that the Rothschilds are traditional guardians of the Vatican treasury, and I believe it. You're probably right that Zionism goes back before the Jesuits controlled it. I remember reading that Theodore Herzl or some other Zionist Jew went to Pope Pius X for support, and the Pope refused.
ccf1971 3 years ago
Well both Luther himself as one of the first protestants and the Catholic church all rejected legalistic Judaism for good reasons. What people don't seem to grasp though, is it wasn't a racial consideration, but a theological one primarily. Back then it wasn't lovey dovey ecumenicalism like now, they KNEW the Jewish pharisees instigated the crucifixion of Jesus.. of course not all jews were reprobate goats, as the apostles and first christians were all saved hebrews.
