Even though Sally Sweetland is doing the voice over for Joan, she was known to have a good voice of her own. The same was true of many actresses back then, such as Rita Hayworth which was also dubbed over in many of her films. You will notie that seldom if ever, was the male actors voices over dubbed, no matter how bad they sang.

@mdshullaw52 True... about the male singers. One thing you have to admit though... the studio did a wonderful job of finding a voice that just perfectly fits Joan's speaking voice.

Joan married a DR. she became a full time mother and wife after giving birth to twin girls. today, both daughters have PHD's. great job by an incredibly beautiful woman...
