You are way out about circumcision. Circumcision was practised long before Jewish religion imposed it. However, it was not compulsory. Hindus before Aryan invasion practised it so did other South East Asians. A circumcised penis is less prone to infection than an uncircumcised one. Smegma can develop into carcinoma. Do not equate it with infibulation. Your trauma is your demon.Deal with it and do not impose on others.
Circumcised genitals are "less prone to infection" the same way any amputated body part is "less prone to infection." Amputating healthy body parts of children is medical quackery.
Smegma is a naturally occurring sloughing off of dead skin cells that happens to males and even more to females. Washing takes care of smegma.
This issue is one of imposing genital reduction surgery on infants and children. Human rights!

Every human child has an inherent human right to the genitals they are born with. Children of both sexes die every year from infections following surgery imposed upon their natural genitals. Male and female genital cutting of children is barbaric and has no place in a just society.

It's completely unfair that Jewish women are denied circumcision. I think women should be entitled to equal rights. Morris Fishbein was the jewish editor of the AMA Journal from 1924 to 1950 who tricked Americans to start cutting all infant penises regardless of race. Untold millions of American infants have suffered penis mutilation ever since the WW2 era.
It's almost funny how people think of circumcision as a Jewish thing, when something like 3/4 of the circumcised males on earth are Muslims.
I've been to several intactivist events, and the attendence always includes about 20% Jews, even though these happen in countries with 2% - 3% Jewish population.
I have no doubt there are enough Jews thinking about this human rights violation to make the case to other Jews. What I worry about is the scarcity of Muslim intactivists.
