I have no idea why, but this is the saddest song I've ever heard, and I'm not often affected by songs this way Maybe it's because it's such a final goodbye, even if the other cries the other is still leaving and only a maybe to meet each other again in another life - It really hit me hard for some reason, and this song could be meant to someone where leaving is bittersweet, like loosing or letting go of someone you love, or someone you really would never want to see unless things were different

It's songs like this that will always keep me a fan of 10 Years even though they release a new album (what feels like) every 5 years compared to 1 or 2 by every other band. The depth of their lyrics is so astute and sincere that you can't help but to be touched by the words. Their works are not cheap, made-for-radio, or generic. As long as they keep making pieces of art like this, I will patiently wait to be further intrigued.
