no terrorists dnt know the essence of islam. killing innocents is a crime in islam :) how do you expect a religion to be accepted by more than 1.5 billion people around the globe if it teaches terrorism ?!!!
It doesn't teach terrorism, but it can, if you interprete the qu'ran that way. That makes it problematic. You can impose on the qu'ran your morals, which may be primitive or humanistic, but the qu'ran itself is not a great ideal of morals.
@mardastheEitheist If you interpret anything out of the context it is in, then you definitely will fall in the misinterpretation trap. There is no contradictory things in the Quran. Can you please show where exactly in the Quran you can interprete the verse as terrorism teachings?! Plus, if you look back to the history if the Prophet's wars, he ordered all muslims not to kill a kid, a woman, an eldery, or even cut a tree.
Say me, why surah 4,34 is used out of context, if it is interpreted, that this allows men to beat women.
Say me, why surah 2,190 - 193 is interpreted out of context, that if you are attacked, you are allowed to kill all unbelievers, until they are becoming believers. I am especially outraged, that it says, that being deconverted from muslim faith is worse than murder. But i am sure, that you will disprove these assumptions. I would be very curious.
@mardastheEitheist i always thought that passage was twards the end of the world when it becaomes the ultimate battle of evil anti-christ people following lucifer vs beleivers in the one God. thats how interpruted it when i first read it....im probably far off though
How do you explain the many things which are violent contained in the coran.
So terrorists follow what the Quran dictates, simply.

2 famous and boring examples:
