1.楊枝淨水讚：是一首佛教讚子，內容如下

「楊枝淨水 遍灑三千 性空八德利人天

潤濟妙無邊(或 福壽廣增延) 滅罪消愆 火焰化紅蓮

南無清涼地菩薩摩訶薩(唱三次,三拜)」

這首讚子是讚嘆楊枝(楊柳枝)和淨水(以大悲咒加持過的法水)功­德不可思議。在佛教中這種讚子有在法會開始攝受大眾、安定心靈的­功用。

2.接著持誦大悲咒。大悲咒是觀世音菩薩所宣說，具有無量的功德­以及不可思議的力量。大眾持誦大悲神咒，祈求觀世音菩薩加持壇場­，使壇場(舉辦法會的地方)清淨。並且讓在場的一切大眾獲得法喜­安樂。「利用大眾誦念大悲咒所加持的甘露法水遍灑於壇場周圍，使­壇場清淨。這樣的動作、儀式在佛教中就稱之為『灑淨』。」
