If Magic had not retired in 1991 at the youthful age of 32, not only wouldn't have John Stockton been within a million miles of his assists record, but neither would anyone else for that matter. Magic would of had people seeing 20/20, as in 20,000 career points to go with 20,000 assists. He finished with 17,000 points and 10,141 assists. Still a mean career "double-double," but 20,000 and 20,000 would have really been something to behold. Oh well, he's still the greatest pg imo.
Great game. It was a well balanced team in that season, but there was a lot of internal issues with Ceballos and Del Harris, Magic wanting to take more of a lead-role which frustrated Nick van Exel. It all just collapsed when the Play-Offs again.
Magic has an issue with Harris back then

Chick is so awesome to listen to. He gives equal enthusiasm to both teams. You couldn't tell he was the Lakers announcer.

this was a solid all around team effort from the Lakers, beautiful basketball to watch and Magic looked like he was in shape as well

i think this is 1995 season....this is the year before shaq and kobe joined the lakers....cause elden campell and vlade are on this team....

@sloepoke046 Shaq and Kobe joined in the 1996-97 season. Vlade was traded for Kobe, but Elden wasn't traded until the 99 lockout season.
