Great review, I have the same exact gun and I love it. The only thing is, although it is a lighter frame, the grip sticks out just a bit when i strong side hip carry, and its a very obvious print. For my body structure it seems easier for me to carry in the 1 o'clock position, but thats when the slide starts to bother when i sit. Maybe i just need a better holster, idk. For now, its my "range" gun and I carry the Kel Tec Pf9. Ill save up for a Kimber ultra CDP II....again, great review
Excellent gun review. I just today bought the Pro carry crimson 2. INCREDIBLE gun. The weight you said was a problem, I love the weight however, there is a problem. The gun runs a little high(typical kimber). I paid just above a thousand. I shoot Glock(G33 and G17) both excellent guns. This Kimber is hands down the best firearm I have ever shot. I was a Springfield guy, Kimber made me a believer. Oh and just for potential buyers kimber's one year warranty is a trick they cover your gun period.
yamahafx1000, if you are indeed 12 years old, and you live inside the United States, then it is illegal for you to purchase your own handguns or handgun ammunition.
If you enjoy shooting, and I hope you do, you'd need to talk to whatever adult you live with about the Kimber.
i am 12 years old and i am the biggest shooter and have shot gus anywhere from a judge with 410 in a darenger with 410 warthawg .45 and my current paraordnance p-13 .45..........anyway i have the money in my hand and im wandering is it worth it for me to get this gun love the looks lazer and i use 1911 and this is the one i want and i will carry when im older and at my gun place they will give it to me for 850.00 brand new full size.......should i take it because i will go right now ......
I have been seriously considering this gun for a graduation gift. I thank you for making this video. The only 1911 I have shot has a PT Taurus and the recoil was barely anything compared to my Taurus 38 Ultra-lite revolver (especially with +P). What brand of ammo did you put to the test?
Nice shooting! I gotta pick one up.

I used standard Winchester White Box 230 grain FMJ ammo.
Ultra Lite .38 snubbies are fire-breathing little monsters. They kick hard.
