  • I like the hat and head gear combo.

  • @TheDavidNoble thanks! At this point in my life I was striving to be a pilot.

  • ...Now I just do shamwow infomercials!

  • Solomon needs to study here? First of all if the words your reading aren't inspired by God then your on a search to untangle where meanings came from etc.

And thats the heart of the matter.

If God used men to communicate with men I would suppose he would use words and meanings.

But all through out the scripture God calls to people to humble themselves before him

The old fallen angel pride story.

I've seen many atheists and such study themselves blind and study is good.

    contd

  • But its very obvious to me a christian. That some men study as if they really believe they could sneak up on God as it were.

As if they could with certainty show God to themselves.

But God is hidden from such men, matters not if I'm that man either. And as God in scripture says he is "the word."

Would most definately mean he is at least in charge of communication with himself. Otherwise only the learned could "find" him.

But if one thinks scripture a fable. A fool for the ages.

    Good day

  • youre cool bro

  • 1. Greg, my opinion of you has just plummeted after reading your first comment. To call the director's knowledge feigned is quite unnecessary. He backs up his argument with hard evidence he has prepared for the video, which is a whole lot more than most people do before ranting some viewpoint on youtube.

  • 2. (to Greg) He simply puts forward his viewpoint yet YOU seem to see this as some 'knowledge' contest. It's a shame to see supposedly educated people like yourself dismiss others in a similar way to some venom-spurting thirteen year-old. Oh well, you've saved me some time - I shan't bother with your videos anymore.

  • HAH...Greg I challenge you to give an explanation in 3 minutes or less.

  • That was the most polite skull crushing I have ever witnessed.

  • your cute!

  • I must admire your vast research on this matter, Wayman. Very interesting indeed. It's beautiful how people like you are dedicated to find information on subjects they find relevant or interesting. And I'm saying this not as a christian (since I'm not) but as a person who's simply impressed by your politeness and dedication. Nice work, Wayman. :)

  • In your video clip Alan, you seem to be either trying to impress someone with a feigned knowledge of the Old Testament and the Hebrew language, or else you are trying to defend The Atheist video clip...you have done neither.

I would suggest that you research your subject material a little more thoroughly next time.

    Regards,

    -Greg

  • Thank-you Greg I will take your advice to heart. If I have any questions I know who to go to.

  • Why the harshness? I believe you are both brothers in Christ. Whatever happened to loving our neighbors and being kind and tenderhearted with our words to one another?

  • Why the harshness?

As far as I know, you both are brothers in Christ. Whatever happened to being kind and tenderhearted with our words to one another? By slandering your neighbor and fellow pilgrim with such insults as "trying to impress someone with a feigned knowledge of the Old Testament and the Hebrew language" you are perceived as being unloving.

And Love is what Christianity is all about.

  • Also, yes I am very aware of the various terms used in the Old Testament for God...and yes I'm aware that the word Jehovah is a transliteration of the Hebrew consonants YHVH.

  • Allow me to correct you. The Hebrew word nabal comes from a Hebrew primitive root meaning to fall away...or fail. The Hebrew word nabal is literally translated as morally deficient...that is a fact Regardless of how many English translations you quote that render the word as...fool, its literal translation means morally deficient...which brings up an entirely different connotation than the English word fool.
