@Gireesh092 You might be able to use setFSB but I wouldn't trust software unless you want to run benches. Stability 24/7 is not good with software on older chipsets. I would save up and get a better board or a entire rig since 775 is outdated and not much compared to any newer chipset you can get for about the same money..
@djelectric You guys who can get to 3.4 "easily", have you added any cooling to your NBs ?
I'm running the e4500 at 3.3 with a Gigabyte G31M-ES2L board, but if I push it any further it goes to BSOD right after entering Windows. When touching the northbridge it is BURNING hot.
@djelectric Boss I would love if you can tell me how you over clocked your CPU and what requirements you need as iam really stuck and need help because my CPU is running at 2.20GHz. I have same CPU as you
hey that is awesome 3.4 ghz on air nice but i would like to know what type of heat sink you are using.

2.2 to 3.4 is not bad at all! You should try for 4.0GHz
Joseph7649 3 years ago
1.75v BIOS?!
Your vdrop/droop is huge!
Thats almost as bad as my 790i.
you need to find a pencil mod for that board.
dagarcia1 3 years ago
No on BIOS it is at 1.6v and windows is 1.588v something or another.
