Listen folks, those comments about us being selfish.. I agree with countrygirl.. simpleminded its not easy out here, definition of selfish is for ones self gain.. i dont do it for me.... I do it so my kids can eat, have clothes and a roof.... we do what we do for them... so to those who wanna knock us for it ... you wouldnt last a day

Finland trucker myself. Or actually a warehouse boss. I make more money as the boss and the hours are standard, but i always drive our trucks when it's possible. (132,000 pounds gross weight) 63000kilos. I'd like to start my own trucking business, i even possess all the permits for that...

my biggest wish and dream is to meet a family where i can come to and then drive whit a truckdriver a cross the usa.

i have a family to.

it's for along time a dream because we have not enough money to come to the usa.

If trucking is in your blood it's hard to get out. My father, both uncles and grandfather all drove or are still driving. Now im one and a half years in and my cusins are both in taking their class A test next month. I can't think of doing any other job.

Truckers def have it hard and ppl just dont understand what they go thru to do that job takes alot of hard work and dedication and strength to do what they do. its not an easy life for them but they do it and most dont complain. they are away from family and friends alot and miss out on things to do a job most ppl pass off as easy. its so not easy and its not easy for the familys. But THANK YOU to all the drivers and their family. I love u hunny and hope u come home soon!

My daddy is a trucker. It just kills me when people say that truckers are selfish. They are so not. Those people are just simple-minded. They have no idea what it is like to be a trucker, or related to one, for that matter.
