Sorry..This isn't .38 Special...After their 3rd album they dissapeared. Some of the guys that used to be in the real .38 Special, got a lame replacement singer, and formed this weak assed band and re-named it .38 Special.

Max Carl wrote and sang this with 38 Special. He is now touring with Grand Funk Railroad. They have currently included it on their set list. Mark Farner is not with them and Max fills in admirably.

I just saw them in concert last week. The normal lead singer, Don Barnes, can still really sing and play guitar. I rate him a perfect 10 in all honesty. Unfortunately, the original lead singer and keyboardist for this song, Max Carl, is now with Grand Funk Railroad. The new keyboardist sings lead on this song, and quite frankly sucks compared to Max.

Many hard core Southern Rockers will disagree, but I think this is one of the best. It was written by Jeff Carlisi, Cal Curtis & Max Carl back in 1988, and it still gets a good amount of airplay. It's just a well done song even if it's not "Rockin' into the Night".
