(his good side, and his dark efl side(bad side))

The only thing they got right is the white hair. The last, but not least, If you ever make a fake trailer about Drizzt again, it probably would be a bit more believable if you put Guenhwyvar in it :)

One has to get a really good idea, talk - inspiration, about the story his movie would be about, one has to know all available info and stories about Drizzt really well to be able to portrait him accurately, and one has to be able to follow his own idea of how the movie should be looking like, instead of trying to adjust to what the audience might like.

You have to admit though, a drizzt movie is worth talking about, even though I think it would be damn hard to pull off. If they started with the homeland book it would be pretty hard recreating the underdark.

In my opinion, there is only 1 game with Drizzt (Baldur`s Gate - particularly only one episode). Why nobody wants to make a great game with Drizzt if he is so popular?
If ANYONE could play as Drizzt, I think Luke Goss would be able to fill the role nicely. It really would be a lot like his Prince Nuada character from Hellboy 2...But as a good guy. Still, it would be rather difficult to translate book to film considering the grandiose scale of R.A. Salvatore's descriptions. Particularly the intricate fight scenes and character's unique nuances and expressions. I would definitely watch a theatrical version of the Icewind Dale trilogy.
Is this for real? If so, I already have my doubts. Firstly, drow are supposed to be black skinned, while this guy clearly is not. Secondly, that just looks like he's dancing around like some stupid ninja-wannabe. Thirdly, when does he get that weapon? I don't know if this is for real or not, but I'm already skeptical.
I will say that that guy could play as him if they made a movie. Or at the very least use him as the fighting portion, because he does extremely well with that stuff. Heck, he dual wields in this movie anyways, and that in itself should count for a lot. = )
Drizzt is a DARK elf, and dark elves, according to forgotten realms, bear very grayish coloured skin. Prince Nuana(sp?) in Hellboy is an elf, but not a dark elf like Drizzt , he has very pale skin. Drizzt also has an animal companion, a black panther. It's all a tad similar but not exactly it.
Either way it still sucks and could never compare to Drizzt!!!!!! Hellboy really shit they did not even have to put make up Ron Pearlman he looks like something from hell anyways!!!

@fukmenw 1. That "stupid weapon" is a spear that can be retracted in a more compact form for use in close or tight quarters.
2. Twinkle and Icingdeath have enchantments that are basically cheats. They just make the weapon sharper and "more accurate". Essentially any swordsman with real skill like Nuada would be able to put up an equal fight to him.
3. And the choreography is based off of Chinese spear fighting. So you keep thinking he looks like a gay dancer while he cuts Drizzt throat. :)

@fukmenw lol This character was created for the movie and according to the movie Nuada has no powers outside of his skill and being somehow psychically linked to his sister (weird I know). From what I understand Drizzt is a good guy, while Nuada is also a good guy (albeit a misdirected one), I doubt they'd fight eachother. It's a cool thought to toss around though :D

I think both characters are extremely awesome, I just tend to like Nuada a little bit more only because its hard to relate to a character like Drizzt cause he's never been portrayed on screen and whatnot. @Maaya1717 It would be great, I completely agree. But it takes more than just taking a famous fiction character to make a good movie. One has to get a really good idea, talk - inspiration, about the story his movie would be about, one has to know all available info and stories about Drizzt really well to be able to portrait him accurately, and one has to be able to follow his own idea of how the movie should be looking like, instead of trying to adjust to what the audience might like.

@Maaya1717 Most promising movies ended up shallow and were forgotten quickly, because the writers behind them tried to adjust to the wishes of the viewers. After all, it's boring if you get exactly what you want to, unlike if you see something you didn't expect, and it was made good, too.

If ANYONE could play as Drizzt, I think Luke Goss would be able to fill the role nicely. It really would be a lot like his Prince Nuada character from Hellboy 2...But as a good guy. Still, it would be rather difficult to translate book to film considering the grandiose scale of R.A. Salvatore's descriptions. Particularly the intricate fight scenes and character's unique nuances and expressions. I would definitely watch a theatrical version of the Icewind Dale trilogy.

Drizzt is a DARK elf, and dark elves, according to forgotten realms, bear very grayish coloured skin. Prince Nuana(sp?) in Hellboy is an elf, but not a dark elf like Drizzt , he has very pale skin. Drizzt also has an animal companion, a black panther. It's all a tad similar but not exactly it.

@fukmenw 1. That "stupid weapon" is a spear that can be retracted in a more compact form for use in close or tight quarters.
2. Twinkle and Icingdeath have enchantments that are basically cheats. They just make the weapon sharper and "more accurate". Essentially any swordsman with real skill like Nuada would be able to put up an equal fight to him.
3. And the choreography is based off of Chinese spear fighting. So you keep thinking he looks like a gay dancer while he cuts Drizzt throat. :)

@USMC2b1 because i couldnt finish what i was saying in last comment. his weapons are enchanted for specific reasons and not cheats cheating doesnt exist in such a thing. how do we know this guy in this video isnt a cheat? huh just because its a movie and you see it all as it is doesnt mean in a game and lore he isnt buffed with something or his weapon to. drizzts was enchated to protect mostly against fire and extinguish it. he also found these weapons so thats fair not cheat :)

@fukmenw lol This character was created for the movie and according to the movie Nuada has no powers outside of his skill and being somehow psychically linked to his sister (weird I know). From what I understand Drizzt is a good guy, while Nuada is also a good guy (albeit a misdirected one), I doubt they'd fight eachother. It's a cool thought to toss around though :D

I think both characters are extremely awesome, I just tend to like Nuada a little bit more only because its hard to relate to a character like Drizzt cause he's never been portrayed on screen and whatnot. Either way, I wouldn't want to see them fight eachother, I'd rather see them kick some ass against evil

@USMC2b1 hehe yea i understand that well the only way you can really know drizzt is the books and games i mostly played the games couse they were just the best ever but you never get to play drizzt in the games i did you just meet him and you choose to help him or not :) but the books tell a much great detail on him since ther is lots of them on drizzt to :P . and yea talking about this stuff is always fun i tend to get a grate joy talking about the forgotten realms so much i wish it was real xD
