I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Grox from Spore yet. They take over everything with no reason and are the biggest threat in the game! They rule about one third or fourth of the entire galaxy (which has thousands of planets that can all be visited), and they declare war if you do the slightest to offend thing to them. I can understand them not being on the list, though.

how the fuck did the covenant (halo series) or the flood(also halo) NOT make this list?

the covenant successfully concered MANY sentient planets in search for forerunner artifacts(and "glassed") up untill the earth.

and for the flood, they are basicaly made to "infect" all sentient life in the universe which resulted into the forerunners to deploy a galaxy/universe-wide annihilation of all sentient life to kill off the flood. and the flood SURVIVED that.

1: Why did were there so many clips of Dark Samus? She's not really related to Metroids.

2: Metroids don't technically corrupt other organisms. Actually, they don't corrupt anything. All the corruption in the prime games was caused by Phazon.

For me my favorite alien are the 12 ZODIAC's fromSiter Skain's RefleX. They are gigantic biomechanical juggernaut's with absolutley ridiculus amounts of firepower and durability. But my favorite of them is either Virgo (responsible for killing the lead) or Ophiuchus, the 13th ZODIAC that existed outside of everyone's knowledge, even the other ZODIAC's. Ophiuchus exist with one purpose, destroy the other ZODIAC's no matter what.

Honestly, Crypto should be Number 1. He has a likeable and hilarious personality (or alienality perhaps), his arsenal is awesome and imposing and he TAKES OVER EARTH! Not only that, but it stays that way throughout the series and he also re-shapes history of Earth rather than a completely fictional world like the Mario Universe. Finally, you play as an alien disintegrating 50's teenyboppers, 60's hippies and 70's disco freaks! What's more awesome than that?!
