I'm considering buying the same guitar, since I was offered a good deal for it. How do like it in terms of sound/playabilty?

sound is great for metal. But since it's dual humbuckers, you may find its a bit difficult to get the less heavy distortion - clean is pretty deep; keep this in mind. that's why I use the strat for other songs. Neck is comfortable, floyd rose is annoying - I've blocked it off now so it's fixed. Bending on a floyd rose is a bit more difficult compared to fixed bridge. also, the pickups, I tend to only use the bridge since pinch harmonics are easy here. may upgrade the neck pups. hope this helps.

thanks. The strings were nearly a year old, but I think my bends were just slightly out of spot.

O.o a year old? xD These strings are very old! I'm spanish, so I can speak English very well but, human fats deteriorate strings, and tension at first fret and +12th frets are very differents.

If your strings are old, your high notes will be out of tune and, of course, your bends too.

the WORLD is one of my favorite songs! I also think that you've done really well here, although most of my impression is the quality of the recorded sound... Better than most I hear, even if you think terrible.

I'm sure you know this: Sakito actually has his own signature model guitar, and the Edwards model of it is even less expensive than the e-fr-130gt.

The Forest-GT is also the most common guitar used in Visual Kei, by the way... >.>

Many bands used it at one point or another.

Thanks :) and yes, the sho-ryu-ken. e-fr-130gt refers to the edwards model of the forest gt. The ESP Original Series is called a Forest-GT. Additionally, Sakito actually has his own custom forest-gt with an inscription on the neck.

Interestingly, Sakito went back to the forest gt in one of the latest nightmare songs - Can You Do It? (see PV). His custom shop forest gt has inscription on neck and white stripes on body. thanks again!

Oh, yes. I know the difference (or rather the similarities) between the edwards / ESP models... same guitar, just with a different logo and different production standards. Still, they are separate guitars.
