This was an awesome movie! And I only use the word awesome because there is currently no word to accurately describe this movie. I watched it on fillmsi.co.cc. Not that it was just that amazing, but because it was so different.
LOL i agree. i keep watching this trailer and thinking "This could be EPIC!!" then i think this could also be epic fail... i hope its epic! I will check it on fillmsi.co.cc today...
When this film comes out, I'm going to ask my girlfriend to make me a sandwich, and then hit the pub, get some beer and see this on fillmsi.co.cc... Looks like a great film...
I missed this acter a lot. I am so happy he comes back, and he is better than ever, just great, with this film proved just how great he is. Fantastic acting..If you don't like this genre, you must see this just to see this men...yo will enjoy this, for real. Awesome. Find this on fillmsi.co.cc.
I attended the 10-days course once and it was probably the greatest experience in my life. You don't need to be buddhist or religious just as you don't need when going to the gym. It's not about believing. It's about sitting, breathing, and practicing.
I never realised this movie was underrated! I've made everyone I'm close to watch this movie on filmsi.co.cc and the great thing about it is we all took a different view on the story it was telling. A truelly great movie and hands down the best movie i've seen.
Fantastic!!! Every person on earth could benefit from meditation. So glad to see these prisoners, our fellow men are being taught the beauty of true freedom.
Amazing movie!! Totaly recommended movie for all movie fans. This is fantastic story you are gonna love.. This is not one of those bad movies, after watching this you won't say: "I can't believe I just spent 2 hours watching this". JUst great! I give you my admiration... See it at moovi.co.cc.
This video is the best of it s kind! This film can be viewed to give you a full experience on the moovi.co.cc site for free ofcourse!! I enjoy in their movies every day few times!
I saw this one at cinema. It was sooo good that i am going to watch it at moovi.co.cc again :) Great movie! And by the way, i was watching movies before on mentioned site, it is really good...
This has the potential to be a positive movement. Religion shouldn't even enter into it. Buddhism, at its core, is a philosophy, a way of life. If it helps these guys in prison, more power to it, I say !
I like the beginning the most. I really expected that I was going to be bad but actualy it is really good for me... There are a handful of laugh out loud moments... You ca search this on malifilmici.co.cc and enjoy yourself...
This movie that I enyojed for me will not get old nor will i get tired of it.. I will watch it over and over again This movie is well worth your time, saw it on kookicá and I would say see it if you havent and if you have see it again.
Hm, I think this film is very very good for it's purpose. It's not meant to be some life-changing, hysterically funny, or terrifying suspense story..it is actually meant to give you some scares, some laughs, and great entertainment. See it, it is recommended...see it for free at kookíca!
This movie is brilliant. It is one of the bleakest films I have ever seen on kookíca. I only hope that more films and art like this can have a positive impact on some of the issues that this movie brings into focus
You just can not escape from this movie...it is totaly provocative in all kind of way that you just need to see it to understand some things. Trust me, you have never seen something easygoing as this one is. See it on kookíca.
a positive outcome is that after they go through the meditation process and are released into the community there may be a decrease in reoffending. 97% of prisoners at this prison will be released.
The truth is always hard to be seen. One must have wisdom and insight to see the reality. What is suffering, what is the course of suffering, end of suffering, and the ways to end it, has to be seen by themselfs with wisdom. Any one how tries to reach that goal is will obtain results in no time. So listen, sustain, and practice in Dhamma. To gain the merits of their deeds. Life is too short so make it fruitful. Your efforts will be appreciated by wise.
Like a luminous full moon emerging from black clouds. Human beings can change, and do change. Very moving! Well done and thank you. Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu.
@alukuhito - But that's what 'Believing in the Bible' is, isn't it? It's just following what everyone else thinks without questioning it. Lets just accept it like 'blind faith' and not ask any questions...
I don't even know where you're coming from. You supposedly had a question about what Jesus was pointing to, so I simply pointed you in the direction of The Bible. I'm not asking for blind faith. I would hope that my faith isn't blind. I don't even know what "believing" in the Bible means. I'm certainly not asking anyone to think that the Bible is free of metaphors and everything in it is literal fact. That would make absolutely no sense.
I'm just saying that by reading the Bible you can get a clearer sense of who Jesus actually was. It's a lot more healthy than just backing up your opinions with a verse here or there taken out of context (which you probably never even looked up yourself). All these preachers of hate out there. Why not just ignore them, read the entire New Testament for yourself, without getting stuck on any self-righteous passages, and get a good feel for what Jesus the Christ was about.
This docu is definitely a must see! There was a bit in the movie where one man said Prison is thing of captivity rather than rehabilitation. Although the crimes some of these men have committed were horrific, beyond all of their actions they are still Human beings!
if i was living in prison hell i would want to try to transform it/me into a much better place. i've done the vipassana retreats and if i was locked up i would like to be put in solitary confinement just so i could meditate.
society is fixed on punishing people for what the did. eye for an eye.love what gandhi said,''eye for and eye will make the whole world blind''.prisons are a breeding ground for violence and crime. we all know it. WE, because we all are john q taxpayers who are responsible for paying for prisons. im sure most ppls reaction to prisons is that is does not effect them, why should they worry. i say to you,you live in society, you are only as strong as your weekest player.
The idea of prisons within prisons is very interesting.
Humans only occupy one true prison - The Mind. The other prisons are experienced and formulated from the mind.
The aim (or non-aim) for vipassana meditators is not to escape the mind but to realise there is no mind to be confined in.
There is no Buddhism, only one's own insight into the nature of reality. Insight through meditation (vipassana) is a technique the Buddha taught and one the inmates in Alabama learned how to practice.
Rich white people spend tens of thousands of dollars traveling to remote areas in Asia to do much the same thing in a highly regimented minimalist environment.
I think it's interesting to note that the reason isolation is often a form of punishment in prisons is that prisoners cannot control their own minds. Their own minds become the instrument of torture.
This is true with most of us really; if left alone our minds are so messed up they actually begin to harm us.
But, send a very competent meditator into 'isolation' and they would be thanking the guards for the opportunity to rest their mind and to skillfully investigate it more deeply ;-)
that's right - being face to face with yourself is the most difficult thing for most people, in and out of prison. This is the why and the wherefore of drugs and every other kind of distraction - avoidence of self, of feelings, and thoughts, and rage, and pain.
It`s about time people stop attaching religion to the Buddah's teaching and try his technique then they may experience for them selves heaven within and get to God. Instead of talking and preaching about what God wants, experience what god is. Love.

There are prisons within prisons, here are 4 all humans occupy..
1st prison - The Earth (gravity) Only escape temporarily in planes & spacecrafts.
2nd prison - Political Systems (Presidents, Prime Ministers, Govenors etc communist or democratic), government controls are everywhere!
3rd prison - The Body, except for death, you cant escape your own body even if you want to!
4th prison - The Mind, Here is our only hope of escape; either temporairly via drugs or meditation & willpower!

If you think like that then, that's not freedom of liberation. That's like being enslaved by some made up shit.
If you ever meditated in your life you'd never say that shit.
You know whats retarded? People think they can go out and go out and do some more crime because they think god will forgive them.
