It didn't register because he was rotating. Even if the knife is raised, it will not stab because your knife glitches when enemies rotate.

@maplemaximus Letranger sux so bad its only good WITH the dead ringer cause it gives u some cloak and even then theres still dmg reduction. Enforcer or just the revovler is pretty good though. Never actually seen ppl play with diamond back.

I suggest turning to watch your back once in a while when walking backwards. You never want to back into a pyro...

Another good tip is to turn around and check your back if someone on the enemy team looks right at you. You need to act like you are checking out what they're checking out, because that's what someone on their team would usually do.

walking backwards is one of the easiest ways to not killed while disguised it's so odd.

Hey Jerma you should remember to have the primary weapon in hand while disguised unless you are disguised as enemy Spy. Seeing your own team Pyro, Soldier, Engineer, Heavy, Sniper or Medic (Sometimes Scout and Demo too) running around with their melee weapon in hand out in the open seems quite fishy. Ofcourse sometimes you get away even from smart guys when wielding knife, because the person you disguised as is a Charge-Demo, Scout with Sandman, Solly with Equalizer or Heavy with Fists of Steel.

Jerma may I say that this gameplay is one of the better dead ringer gameplays and i'm glad that you don't be Captain Obvious and disguises as pyro every time. Honestly they are the most obvious spies in the game; most spies I've killed are mainly disguised as pyros, good gameplay bro.

@dafunapple I always disguise as pyro sniper or engy its becouse as a spy I try to fast kill hide kill etc and with other clases u are too slow to kill-hide fast enough it realy doesent matter for me if enemy now that its spy disguised I just need to apear for a sec kill and then hide again, the only moment when disguise comes inhandy to me is when u try to take out engy

@shaun1ep 6 kills a game is good? NO WAY in hell its good. What the hell are you smoking. I wouldnt call myself the best spy ever but i still get easily over 20 kills per game on any of the gametypes if the round is longer than 10 minutes. Some gamemodes require bit more time becaue of the bigger map size and distance from own frontline to enemy defenses.

@EpicPineapple1 Basically, the Dead Ringer will fake your death when hit by any enemy damage. The damage is decreased by 90%, a corpse is dropped-even granting Achievements and Dominations, I believe, to the person that killed you-and you auto-cloak. The downside to this is that the Dead Ringer is VERY loud when decloaking, so be careful.

Sorry, but I don't find the dead ringer easy. I only find it easy with the Eternal Reward and Saharan spy set. Is that good?

That's the worse advice I've ever heard for spy. Getting into a routine is a terrible thing, people will eventually catch on. You want to be as unpredictable as possible as a spy.

tip: don't disguise as pyro if the other team has any REMOTELY competent ones. chances are you'll be disguised as a pyro that's following you.
