Yes we've spent years salivating as the Zep stuff trickled out but i didn't think it would happen with this concert. Hope i'm still kicking when it finally hits the market.

I just heard that Page's manager said Zeppelin "is over" and there will never be a tour or any more shows. Without Plant there was no way, so this concert was indeed their last...and they kicked ass!!

You must be joking!! The key change just sucks the life out of the song. It ruins it completely!! The key change is purely done so Plant can sing it, he can't hit the high notes anymore. But the person that suffer's the most is Jimmy Page. Those strings must feel so loose that he can't play the song like he wants too. Shame really. IMO I think that's why Plant doesn't want to do it anymore.

You got a point their about Pages strings, I guess some of the old Zep songs were made to be played by the young original members of Zep, but thats not to say that there are many others like the less wild ones Plant can still belt out, and it's not to say that these guys were ment to play together and can produce some music that they can perform without bending the strings a little so shall we say, I for one would like to see the four of them hit a studio and create some new songs!!!!

I agree, new songs is the way to go. But I guess that will not happen. Bummer! I really wanted to hear Page Jones writing together again. Watching the bootleg clips of their last show, shows how important Jones was to the feel and everything that Zep ever did. I wish their had of got him for the Page/Plant Unledded album & tour, a damn shame, and Plant could still hit the high notes back then!!

I spy cameras on runners at the front. Are we expecting a DVD of this performance?? I know Pagey was extremely keen that the band were sufficiently prepared and playing well before this show, and it certainly showed -- should make a great dvd. I also think JPJ makes a big difference. I don't think we can expect a tour -- besides, it will be practically impossible to get a ticket.
