well you actually shift + rightclick the minaral just before the SCV starts to actually build something, the SCV then takes it as a chain command and goes mining after it has finished building something automatically! SC has no auto-mining feature like other games!
If you hold shift and right click the mineral patch before it begins building, it will mine when its done building, instead of you having to do it manually ^^
i will disagree here because every dam match i go in i get rushed from toss and its weard because my starting build is almost the exact same as yours and i still get toss rushed and man it pisses me off so much, got any pointers on how to stop a toss rush? the only way i know how so far is bunker/barracks block
be faster with gas and get a 1-2 marines while getting a tank 1st, you make siege with your 3rd tank, that will hold any rush, forget the bunker, your wall will do!

after you tell an scv to build something, why do you click on a mineral patch? i have seen pros do this alot before but i do not understand it

u hold down shift and click it so when they finnish doing whatever they are doing they go back to work

yes true, but it's an "intuition risk" I took. Most play FE nowadays so the chance of getting rushed is slim.

"intuition risk" after scouting, you can tell by the build if he going for a rush, he'd tech early range or 1-2 Zlots...
