I don't know what it was about Velious/Sleeper's Tomb, but no game will ever have the same attraction to me as Everquest did during this era. I started playing EQ again last year for a short while and I'd sit inside Sleeper's Tomb just reminiscing. I miss those days.

@DanielSanChop the tank game was called Tanarus where you had to manually set your shields to be front or rear, I did think that was a neat game. I preferred the other game that came with it though, Infantry Online, man I miss those days...playing EQ, Infantry, and Tanarus, Diablo 2, good times

I used to play on this server... It was Lanys T'vyl....best fucking server hands down. I remember when I was 17 years old sitting in East common tunnel I think it was...and drooling over Maldens (sp?) auctions he was selling....and who could forget Rurog fucking most bad ass warrior ever...and the other warrior uhm...Itslegend I think his name was....I belive he was the leader of Conquest...It's been so fucking long....My characters name was Kencho and I was in RoTA Riders of the Apoc. Never liked EZ Server... played it when they first brought it out. They don't do much dev, i've built my own servers that people liked, i just brought them down all the time and built different ones.

oh I know... I play EQ2 right now, but it has completely taken away everything that was right and good about Everquest. Until sony finally wises up and makes an old world EQ server/ stand alone game I don't forsee anything great happening to Norrath.

Heh I tried EQ2 but, there is so much questing to get done in the whole game, it is ridiculous.. I've been doing EqEmu servers for a while... being able to make a server with whatever you want, as long as you know what to do, it becomes quite fun.

Me and one of the best scripters around are working on a Team based PVP server. It's going to be pretty badass when we launch it.. whole story-line quests, lot of customization... different teams, different name colors based on team..
