This video demonstrates the superior typing efficiency of the Japanese. As you see, their typing speed is NUTS, probably because of the amount of time they spend at work, typing stuff.

If this ever gets ported to the West, it's gonna be one of those weird cases where the Western version is actually harder than the Japanese version.

The game itself wouldn't be harder - it'd be the same but non-Japanese would find it more difficult.

I think it looks more difficult because the phonetics are all in one block, whereas in TOTD's English version there were sentences which are already broken into visual word chunks. Someone who doesn't speak Japanese will just see extremely long words, while a Japanese person sees the Kanji/Kana and they're broken up already.

first of all, there are less japanese symbols than there are english, so they could have been typing japanese.
