@gg8689 the reason they rest in her hand like that is cause the senses on their nose go haywire from the electrical currents the human body gives off when she touches their nose and it's kinda like scratching the chin of a cat how they rub into you and want more and more it dazes them and they feel all warm n fuzzy inside, unfortunately i don't think they know when they're being loved

Just a childish thought, but since we were with animals when the world was created, maybe we still feel a connection with them when we were all at peace. :) Maybe we feel like we want to have the same connection that we loss back in the garden of eden and vice versa. That's why some animals are mad at us and some are happy. :D

Ive almost lost half my body suring when a great white shark attacked me. but I was thankful it let go. This is one lesson if a shark get ahold of you punch it in the nose. it works because the sharks nose is very sensative.

i think the whole shark petting thing comes from the fact that sharks like to be groomed. there are many cases of this in the wild where a deadly animal allows a small bird or fish to climb all over it and even in thier mouths. they do this because they provide them with a service. the smaller animals need food, and the larger predators pass on the easy meal in return for being ridded of parasites and such. I believe that this is what is happening with the sharks, they just like to be groomed.

this woman is awesome to try to show sharks true disposition.

Most sharks are threatened or endangered because of human hunting and killing them or getting trapped in fishing nets. No one cares because sharks are viewed as dangerous. The proof is in the fact that there is an out cry for dolphines and whales and barely a whisper for sharks.

Sharks are one of the most adaptive creatures on the planet. It will be a sad day if humans out of ignorance and hatred destroy them.

I love sharks. Humans aren't a natural part of a sharks diet, so if you don't act like "food" and don't spook 'em they won't bite you.

Its not weird to kiss a shark if you view them like you view your pet dog or cat.

All sharks have different personalities. Some are grumpy and bite of lips and others are friendly and like to be pet. Just like us humans. Some want to be social and others like to be loners. You just have to dive in the same area a few times and watch the sharks behaviors. After a few dives you can see which sharks are friendly/non-bity and which aren't.

Absolutely incredible. Just amazing. This is effectively the equivalent of running out into the savannah, finding a pack of wild, blood-coated hyenas - in the middle of a feeding, as the woman here WAS dishing out a bit of a dinner with those fish - and trying to get one in your lap to pet it.

I assure you, that would end far, far worse than this.

It goes to show you just what sharks can be like. I'm just amazed at how wrong we were (still are) about these guys. They're beautiful.

What a beautiful woman. I feel an affinity to people who have a natural relationship to animals. It goes to show i wonder if you panic they pick up on it and feel the same as hearing any animal in the ocean that is threatened by them. She is truely a lovely soul. I do hope as another said it doesn't turn scared one day and bite her. what a heart warming vid : )
