Battlefield as in the one with three platforms? Beat All Star mode on any difficulty. If you're talking about the stage they're playing on (Final Destination), then you have to beat all 51 events.

to do samus's under the stage you could jump, do three bomb jumps as far as you can, midair jump, air dodge, grapple, and then up+b. and for ness you can jump, wait until your under the level, midair jump, and PK thunder 2 through the slope. for Link you could bomb tech your way through. Luigi full charged missile, tornado up, jump, and up+b. Kirby could just jump and Up+B. same with pichu and pikachu with a skullbash.

For Samus's grapple idea, you'd be facing the wrong way for the air dodge.

Ness's pk thunder dosen't go that far.

You just have to start facing the opposite direction for Samus; it works.

And Ness can make it. I've seen the 3rd jump ride the wall and make it (interestingly enough, it can also hug the curve under Battlefield and he catches the ledge).

Ganondorf kicks ass, just wanted to say that because my friend won $30 in a tournament using Ganondorf and all the other characters were Fox and Falco, by the way this was a public tournament so don't say anyone was a "noob", they all played good, Ganondorf is just better

Hmm... I'm not saying that your friend's opponents were "bad", but against a pro Fox/Falco player, Ganondorf is at a disadvantage; Fox could shine -> USmash, and Falco could pillar and spike Ganondorf. But anyway, the character doesn't decide who's better; Taj's Mewtwo destroyed a lot of people in his combo video, including a Ganondorf. That was at an MLG tourney, as well.

Yes. Usually, people airdodge towards the stage, and then near the end or right after the end of the airdodge, they press Z to get Samus to grab onto the stage. After that, Z is pressed again to reel Samus up, and then up+B is used to recover. Also, Samus can walljump straight out of the reeling if timed properly. It is also possible to use the grapple beam without airdodging; just press Z without the airdodge. Also, Y. Link and Link can do the above, except Link cannot walljump.
