  • oh shiiii son....i didn't palagi's could fire knife dance XP auuuu mo kala jokes

  • Hey..uh...can we all just get along here(:

  • So, you're saying you don't speak Samoan and you don't know much about Samoan history. That means you shouldn't be arguing with me because you don't know crap, genius. And where did I say that you are not Samoan because you don't know this and that?

You don't like Samoan food? Sounds more like a traitor than a Samoan to me. That said, you are not Samoan. You are a traitor; you are lost. So, if there is anything that is sad, it has to do withe the fact that u know nothing & that u r a traitor.

  • @theephraimite If you are born a samoan. Then you are a samoan no matter what your personality is. If you cant speak samoan then thats ok. You can always learn. If you dont know the history of your culture. Well its not hard to talk to your elders or go on google. If you dont like samoan food. well thats on you. Most people have different likes when it comes to food. It will NEVER make you a traitor.

  • @DoggyStain They can learn the language and stuff, eh? Unfortunately, I don't see that happening at all. Secondly, you won't learn much on the internet about the culture because it does not contain everything and the information is false or incomplete (or both). Not a traitor, eh? Unfortunately, that's not how many of the tribesmen see it. Samoan culture demands loyalty, which means you should show your love for Samoan culture - including food. If you can't give that, then you are a traitor.

  • @theephraimite Lol You obviously not from Samoa

  • @DoggyStain "You obviously not from Samoa."

How did you come up with that conclusion? Oh, wait, you just say that in a futile attempt to veil the fact that I'm right and you are wrong. I can read you like a book. I doubt you speak Samoan, so quit it; because I do. So go ahead, ignore the truth like you always do when you realize you are wrong.

Don't waste you time responding because I'm not gonna read your comment. We're done. Fiapoto e te le iloa se mea.

  • @theephraimite Your probably one of those state raised samoans

And why you reading me like a book?

    You like me?

  • All i see in my hometown all my Samoan friends/family practicing the fire knife in their backyard (:

  • i know him. he goes to school with my brother. wicked cool!

  • did this kid just do a Polynesian fire dance with ease? lol.. Great job

  • wowI know him he lives a few blocks away no joke wow

  • he was better then most!

  • Very well done. This Kid must have been to PCC to do what he had done. Once again, great job. You'll be one of the best when you get older.

  • @vilimai21 , Preston was on the TV news and newspapers on Oahu last may so we all drove up to PCC to watch him compete. He handily won the championship and he so impressed the judges and chiefs at PCC, they honored him with a chiefs title. We were all shocked when they announced his title. I hope we are able to vote for him on the show this year. He is simply an amazing kid. What he has is a true talent.

  • @miftifimi He is pretty good. But our people are just dishing out Samoan titles just because one is good at performing a Samoan dance is just beyond belief. I guess our culture is that cheap.

  • @theephraimite Or maybe it's that generous. Maybe it's expansive enough to permit the inclusion of someone outside it as a measure of respect. Maybe it sees past xenophobia and gets that if a white kid can dedicate himself to an element of Samoan culture (and succeed so tremendously), that it's worth an exception. I wish you the wisdom to recognize tribute for what it is, rather than seeing another chance to isolate yourself. It's a big world out here; grab your cultural heritage and join us.

  • @DarkRider69 "Or maybe"? "Maybe"? That is all you got, just 'maybes'. Like I said, genius, he is good at this dance, and I have no problem with it. But fireknife dancing is not an important part of our culture. Having a title comes with responsibilities, such as knowing how to address people properly (language of the chiefs); sacrificing time, energy, possessions, for everyone in general; and so on. So please stop talking like you know everything because it's gonna show how ignorant you are.

  • Way to go Chief Malosi....

  • omg how neat..if hes not samoan then wow ur gooood! so nice to see other people loving our culture n sharing i hope he goes far!

  • Omg, he is so cute and only 3 months older than me...

  • Hella messed up the white boys showing that he can get in doing our own dance when no samoan has even tried to get in doing the same thing ahhahahjk

  • @iLloydTV Haha, for real, but who's fault is that?

  • @jleungwo It's nobody's fault because fire knife dancing is just a small part of Samoan culture anyway. There are tons of other things in the Samoan culture that are far more important than fire knife dancing by trillions of light years.

  • @theephraimite Uhhh, who said anything about fire knife dancing being the most important thing in the Samoan culture?

  • @jleungwo Uhhh...Forget it; you missed the point.

  • @theephraimite Uhhh, no I get what you just said. I don't think you understood what I just said. Stop trying to educate other Samoans on our culture.

  • @jleungwo "Stop trying to educate other Samoans on our culture"? What a joke. Are you really that ignorant? That's what Samoans always do, especially the elders and relatives; it's part of the culture. It is how the culture survives in an ever changing world.Obviously, you don't know anything. Do even speak Samoan? Lastly, I really want to see you try and stop me from trying to educate our other Samoans on our culture. Alu la'ia e fai sau fe'au; a fai atu 'ona e poto loa lea.

  • @theephraimite Its ignorant Samoans like you who have to label Samoans. Let me guess, because I don't speak Samoan I must not be a true Samoan. I don't know much history about Samoa, so I must not be a true Samoan. I don't like Samoan food, so I must not be a true Samoan. Its pretty sad that, according to you, I must speak Samoan in order to be Samoan.

  • Hopefully this kid makes it all the way.

  • @markjanvier he came to hawaii for the world fireknife championship 2009 and beat my little brother for first place for the championship, so he's gone all the way in the fireknife world.

  • choohooo!!!!!!..

  • he is the 2010 Jr. World Fire Knife Champion

  • Attaboy.

  • idk but hes really good for his age...

  • how much samoan do u think he is?....eeeh.

  • @numba4our None..he is pure white...he just saw this and decided he would like to do it...there are a few videos of him being interviewed on youtube before and after he won the 2010 junior champ title.
