im procesing my oil at 62p per ltr. but now weather getting cold im needing to

heat up oil for the reaction and this costs .

IK thought that heating the oil to 130 f makes the water go to the bottom along with the glycerin.

Having the lid on the drum when the oil is boiling is a big mistake. The steam will condense on the lid and the sides of the drum and run back into the oil. This will mean the oil has to be boiled many times longer than necessary.

Boiling is a poor way to dry oil. Evaporating takes much less energy and practical.

If you have to boil, at least have the drum open and have a small fan blowing into the drum. It will speed up the process a lot but is is still an inefficient and dangerous

i agree with the lid ... but why should one not boil??? it makes the filtering faster ect
