Everybody has their own personal tastes and preferences. I personally think Stevie Wonder and George Michael are both great singers. I just feel that whenever a song is covered, it should not be viewed on equal terms. The first artist painted on a blank canvas and the second artist had the original to reference. Extra credit should ALWAYS go to the original. The second version can surpass the original but that performer has a head start

I was at this concert in 87 at the Wembley Arena. There were other artists there and George did this song plus 1-2-3 and Everything She Wants. The other artists sounded like nothing compared to him. He was incredible and still is...
