  • Does any one know where to find books with good information about dosage? I want to learn as much as I can and the right amounts so I dont get hurt. thank you ^_^

  • @jalinapes :o))

  • I agree about "hedgerow medicine" so "herbal remedies" will be the next book i buy thanks for the reviews Rickvanman. Have to say that your herbalism videos are just as inspirational, thanks and keep up the good work.

  • I have to say that UK plant&garden books are more pretty and educational than german ones. Unfortunately basic english won´t help with such specialised topics but maybe I try some of your pretty books. Thanks for giving advice.

  • Some great books Rick, nice to go back for reference etc. Nice. Thanks. Paul :-)

  • Thanks for sharing Rick. :-)

  • Hello Rick, we recommended your channel in a bulletin on ours!

Who does the voice overs at the beginning of your videos?

    RuralSurvival

  • @RuralSurvival Ah cheer :o) The voiceover is Chris Dyson (see notes)

  • @rickvanman

Thanks, do you pay for it?

  • @RuralSurvival depends how nicely you ask :o)

  • Good video Rick. I have the first three books that you recommend (plus some others) and agree with you, the Hedgerow Medicine is my number one choice.

  • @1966yjd it's a great book :o)

  • my mom got me a copy of The Green Pharmacy about a week ago, its a very good book i love it , but the day i got it my sisters dog ripped out the title page and all of the contents pages lol so im working on putting tabs in the sections so i know where to find every thing lol but it is an amazing book so far

  • @abbynextdoor1230 oops! dogs, don't you just love em :o)

  • awesome vid! scott cunningham has some amazing herb books.

  • Thanks for the overview Rick. I recently found a health food store with the high shelves full of screw top jars with various herbs. I knew they existed but now I know where. (8^{>

  • @FenderGibsonWashburn Hi Paul - excellent news. if you fancy dabbling in this I reccomend working with calendula petals (marigold) as a first project (calendula ointment) - several family and friends keep coming back for more of it because it's so effective! Got a mate with major acne issues - says nothing else comes close to dealing with it, not even the steroid cream he got from the doc!
