This song came out while they were fairly new and really didn't have a say on what they recorded... the record companies ruled then, just as they do now. I wasn't until they became soooo famous that they could write their own ticket and do the songs they wanted to do... not much difference today.
People back in the day thought their hair style was sinful and too long...me and my friends still have long hair for our ages,56 and still feeling and acting young.
I wish I was a teen in the 60's I could go to the record store with my friends and get a Beatles record and listen on a turn table! That would have. Been so awesome!
The Beatles were charming and innocent looking. They appealed to mom and dad. Let's not forget Mr. Einstein's remarkable business savvy. He knew how to market the boys, how to dress them, when and where they should be. Ed Sullivan has a part and of course Murry the K.
It's true . their music saved the world from our strict parents do this do that be home by 8. go and get your hair cut, turn down the radio well get stuffed and thank god for the beatles who's music wil live on 4ever
ok i in need of a drummer thats really good kinda like keith moon or john bonham im going to form a band if your interesting in joining my band text me back? around the aged 16-17 even 15
I was a teenager when this was going on. It was great . For all you folks that wish you'd been alive then , it was fun , but by now you would be like me- arthritis, knee replacement, more than one marriage......eyesight going down the drain. Hopefully, you will be able to go back to this when ever you want to.
This day when they recorded it, they were recording about 10 songs, almost without any breaks... Twist and Shout was the last one, so John's voice was a little bit crack. But it sound's awesomeeee! ♥
My grandpa doesn't like the beatles cause there was a guy that went backstage (I'm guessing part of the crew or whatever) and seen them drinking blood then reported it. So yea you be the judge...

One of my first memories as a kid growing up in Signal Hill,Ca.
The Beatles on Ed Sullivan Feb-1964. Nobody really knew what
they were. We all tuned in, even our parents. We wanted to know
who sang "I Want to Hold Your Hand"..Their sound penetrated.
My parents would not admit it then (stuck on the 40's, which is good stuff)
but what was this NEW sound?
I have yet figured out why The Beatles were so addicting.
The sound? The look? The energy?
The 60's were amazing. Thank you. J.P.G.R.

if you want to live those years you can find a working delorean and customize it
then back in the 60's get it smashed by a train.
And you should be good!
