Snowbirds are using CL-41 aircraft built in 1960 from a company called Canadair. I personally worked in the control tower in 1971 when we put the first Team together in CFB Moose-Jaw Sask in Canada. In 2011 we still flying the same aircrafts,these were trainer aircrafts in 2FST ( Flying Training School) there reliable aircraft. Over the years I met most the crews very professional and dedicated pilots.
