  • Damn what an underplayed song. 1977 rocked for me.

  • I wish that I bought the "In colors" album before the "Live at Buddakah" album. I would have understood the second album better!

  • these guys were unexpectantly heavy

  • I have big eyes...but they're on the guys when they see my chest... I can't remember how many guys wrote that I had 'Big Eyes' in my damn freshman yearbook!

    now it's just funny!

  • Cream magazine was when i noticed them because of punk music coming into it's own, long/short hair. Then went to see Kiss @ the inglewwod forum, Cheap Trick opened and I never looked back, man they were loud and good. Kiss was a joke and couldn't follow that act.

  • I was so in love with Tom when I was in high school.

  • warrior

  • Rick writes the songs and he has great guitar but Tom Petersson's bass is amazing.

  • The greatest fuckin band alive!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they rocked lewiston ny (niagara falls area) on 7/19/11 in 0ppressive heat and humuidity!!!

  • just saw them live 14 days ago they sound freaking awesome

  • @jeffv10 is it still the four original members??

  • @378904 Yeah, although the drummer isn't touring with them right now due to health problems.

  • @378904 yes and they sound better than ever

  • @378904 yes and they sound better than ever wait i think drummers not original im not sure

  • @jeffv10 Original drummer STILL in the band....Guitarist Rick Neilsen's son has been filling in on tour because Bum E, (drummer) has had some health problems. Bun DID do all the recent Sgt. Pepper live dates though.

30+ years and a pile of great albums....and NOT inducted into the RnR Hall of Fame???? Total B.S. and an insult to a band that is highly respected by most major artists.

Hell...how many bands can say they actually recorded with John Lennon? + movie soundtracks & TV show themes?

  • i agree with ya were u meaning that 70sshow when u said tv themes, anyways thanks for info

  • Killer tune love it cant play it loud enough!

  • BOOBS..."Big Eyes" is a direct reference to the female anatomy, as is Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl."

  • @metalshark69

i aways thought it was a refference to the band members Feldmanesque eyes.

  • @GSand84583 i saw them at 'red rocks ampatheater' right outside of boulder colo. up in the mountains cerca 1979. and yah, they were good. i wish i could have seen sweet.

  • いやぁ~、マジで最高やね~!!

  • Big Eyes is a Boob reference

  • Great song and great Album cover...!!

  • great track from IN COLOR..one of my favorites...love that album....i still have the vinyl I bought back in 79.

  • West Fargo, ND, summer of 1980, if I remember right. They played this one, of course, and sounder better than the album, it just crushed. They were young and the songs were fresh. It was hotter than hell out and my friends and I made our way into the first few rows of sweaty, half-naked concertgoers (general admission outdoors back then) and I was truly made into a Cheap Trick convert.

  • I love Cheap trick. Loved 'em since I was 13 years old, and I'm 4-5 on Saturday...Great voice-- great band.

  • @musicmamma 51 in 2 wks saw them on first album tour,in detroit mi. and its still all good.trick forever.........

  • @eaglebower you're never 2 old 2 rock & roll...

  • one of the best damn drummers in the business if ya ask me...BUN E. CARLOS ruled

  • I heard this live at the Capital Theater in Passaic NJ long ago. Sounded awesome live.

  • heard his song when i was 9. It's been my favorite CT song ever since. That kick ass guitar riff, and bassline are great!
