  • @LadyTaraJo Isaiah 61:6 says everyone in the nations will know my children and their children will be known by nations.ANYONE WHO SEES THEM WILL KNOW THAT I HAVE BLESSED THEM.

  • Uuuummmm "hate filled religious but jobs" ?what a bitch. Christians are NOT hate filled and are NOT nut jobs. Idfc if it was a joke or not it wasn't funny. GO TIM TEBOW!!! He's not a failure you bastard

  • Matthew 6:5-6 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

No, Jesus does not support Tebow.

  • God Bless Tebow for his brave walk.

  • You're right, Middle Man. "He does missions in the Phillipines, for God's sake!!" That's exactly why he's doing it. :)

  • First of all there is no war on religion - its a paranoid delusion of the fearful far right.

Tebow is not the first christian to play football, But wore it on his sleeve in an obnoxious way that made it a news story - which was covered by Fox propaganda far more than any legitimate media outlet.

  • What "war on religion"? The US govt allows religious organizations to collect $Billions annually from their followers TAX FREE. We allow them to own vast amounts of real estate TAX FREE. And to earn income on investments TAX FREE. One may worship as you please, or not at all, according to the Constitution. We fund Catholic Charities to the tune of vast amounts/year AND they are the largest recipient of Medicaid funding.

There is NO war. This is just empty rhetoric.

  • what is "glib?"

  • Evil?....anyone that isn't a Christian you call "EVIL".there are lots of people of genuine deep conviction that are very earnest & a lot of them are GAY.

  • As a wicked footsoldier in Obama's war on religion...I had to take a break (from washing the Mercedes of abortion doctors and planning the unholy replacement for Xmas) to dispense some "snark and sarcasm" to your video. "Evil" is not terrified, it is embarrassed, for you. Save our time and the Trifecta's dignity. Just show 10 seconds of these guys patting their own backs for being pious. Or perhaps they'd prefer to "pat" some other parts??!! See I use exclamation marks, too.

  • Maybe he should write Matthew 6:5 on his face.

  • @HornPlayer983

Maybe he should write 'insert cock here' on his face.

  • If someone was praising their imaginary pet rainbow unicorn after every game, the media and society would be making fun of them too. Treat religion for what it is, insanity and absolute lack of critical thinking. Believe what you want, but keep it to yourself if you cannot handle being criticized.

  • Comment removed

  • Okay how does that have anything to do with what I said? Of course he has the freedom to speak his mind, all I am saying is if he can't handle criticism for what he says, then keep it to himself. Use your head, buddy.

  • "Christianity is the most perverted thing to shone upon man." Thomas Jefferson.. Tebow is a cool guy, but the fact is, he is promoting a death cult that was created by a bunch of egotistical, homophobic, sexist men from the bronze age. Tim, just play football and shut up about your theology that has blocked the progress of man kind. Go Broncos

  • @mcarbone80: Thank you! I was getting sick of hearing him preach!

  • Cross and Christians, end to end,I examined. He was not on the Cross.I went to the Hindu temple,to the ancient pagoda. In none of them was there any sign.To the uplands of Herat I went, and to Kandahar.I looked. He was not on the heights or in the lowlands.Resolutely,I went to the summit of the mountain of Kaf.There only was the dwelling of the[legendary] Anqa bird.I went to the Kaaba of Mecca. He was not there.I looked into my own heart. In that, his place, I saw him.He was in no other place.

    ---Rumi

  • "Jesus is my higher power..." :D

  • @jfritzyb Jesus is your imagination.

  • Nschenk is the matrix...:D

  • all you religious nuts keep your religion out of conservatism. You are making it look bad.

  • @LasagnaIsGood Not that I'll spend much time arguing with you about this...but from where do you think Conservatism has its roots?

And it's nice to see you're worried about what others think.

  • @AirCargoHeavy From a firm belief in the free market, liberty and justice. Religion has corrupted conservatism, especially here in Canada. Our "conservatives" have started calling themselves progressive, and are leaning liberal on fiscal issues, while remaining steadfast on their social conservative beliefs. It's sickening, social conservatism is another word for authoritarianism/socialism. We have no conservatives here, its all a sham.

  • @AirCargoHeavy But I have to vote for them and tell others to vote for them because the ndp(socialist party) will take power.

American culture and news has more influence here than you might think, and it plays an important part on our political landscape. So ya i'm worried what kind of message you might send while you wave your bible around while saying you are for "liberty". Hypocrites

  • @LasagnaIsGood Keep it out of politics in general.

  • Tebow is going to be a hero for a very long time because of his accomplishments and what is most amazing is the way its happening is in such a fashion that glory is givin to the Lord:) thats got me all excited im so happy to know God is at work:)

  • @foreverholy72 you think god cares more about tebow than starvin kids in africa? a caring god indeed.

  • @TheInfeksjon95 starving kids in africa huh? all of the stories i hear about when a child thats starving gives thier lives to God the are provided for:P haha so shhh you goof ball

  • @foreverholy72 god do not exist lolololol

  • @foreverholy72 Yeah, your "god" is so awesome that he/she/it cares so much about a football game and ignores all the real problems in the world, like wars, famine and disease. Oh, I forgot, there is no evidence for your "god"'s existence. Tebow's team lost against the Patriots, so, what does that tell you about your "god"? Also, would you feel the same way if Timmy boy was a muslim?

  • @uglyandbad Atheist to God :Why do you let suffering, disease and wars happening?

God to atheist :Why do you do nothing about it?

  • @SonofJaphet Nah, we atheists do not communicate with things that don't exist, and/or things that are just figments of some people's imaginations.

  • @SonofJaphet Atheist to God: Why would you even create the conditions for suffering to exist?

  • @foreverholy72 Why don't you give Tebow all your money then... since he is obviously doing more than you to help people, you should enable him to help more, otherwise you are as guilty as someone who steals food from babies. In fact, you are stealing food from babies right now, just by sitting there.

  • This charlatan actually tried to redeem Robert E. Lee by comparing him to Tim Tebow. Perhaps not an unfair comparison, but still, this guy is queer for Tebow.

  • "My objective in life isn't football, I love it, but my objective in life is to give Glory to God.

    That makes people's skin crawl."

    SO VERY true!

    Praying or you Mr. Tebow.

  • Attention freak tebow

  • These guys are in the same room! Lol

  • The reason Tebow is ridiculed,Belittled and called arrogant is because the Devil is ever present in the world.

  • all your aragant self serveing so called men are not at there full potential, without j.c, soon you will all want what he has, cuz its all about competion, and me , me I TS NOT ABOUT YOU NO MORE, ITS ABOUT GLORYIFING GOD, DENI YOURSELF, DIE TO SELF

  • There is no War on religion either. There is, however, plenty of war from religion. I don't think that there's ever been a war in the world that hasn't had some sort of religious motivation. Religion makes hate, as has been seen on many of these comments. Religion touts faith, and faith means making a virtue out of abandoning logic. I haven't heard ANY media blitzing Tebow for his Fairy tale religion. I have however heard the religious praise him as the second coming of Christ. just plain stupid

  • This is rediculous. I don't care What Mr. Tebag believes, he's a horrible QB. Look at his stats. The rest of the Broncos compensate for his poor preformance. Everyone says that he wins the games, the rest of the team keeps them from falling too far behind so when he wakes up in the 4th quarter they can win on an average passer rating of 75... laughable and embarassing. Not sure why I'm wasting time with this, How can you take a show called "pajama tv" seriously anyway?

  • Im Muslim and i have no problem with Tim Tebow being who he is...let ppl talk..who cares!!!

  • My God is an awesome God, he reigns in Heaven above

  • If people find my religious practices offensive (for whatever reason) and wish for me to keep it private, then please return the favor and keep your homosexuality private. No more parades, and no more calling me "sister" or "honey", and I won't say "bless you".

    Deal? I am guessing not.

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople Really? Nobody finds your religion offencive until you try to cram it down our throat or play like you're so victimized. Nobody cares. The real victims are the people whose goverment leaders make decisions based on their narrow view as supplied by religion. the religious only care about their members while refusing to accept any information that could challenge their far fetched beliefs, everyone else pretty much gets the finger. this is probably wasted on you anyway.

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople Wow!Right on! I guess it's just scary when Christians come out of the closet! AAAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople but god isnt real

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople because religious practice is the same as sexual orientation?

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople if you are aint gonna stop worshiping god in public I will start burning bibles in public. why? becouse it is my religion.

  • @TheInfeksjon95 Do what you need to do asswipe, you impress no one with your statement.

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople Homosexuality is natural. Do you think you should keep your heterosexuality private? Believing in a magical sky daddy on the other hand, is a choice. If you hold ridiculous beliefs, be prepared to be ridiculed. If a fully grown adult believes that the world was created by a flying supernatural turtle monkey hybrid, people would think that he/she's crazy. A belief in God is no different.

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople homosexuality is natural, it is part of evolution and it occurs in animals. believing in absolute nonsense, that some magical being in the sky created us all is just ridiculous and people should be ridiculed for saying such a thing. if i said that i was a jedi knight and yoda is my god, would you say that was right? bullshit. also, if there is a god, to pray for victory is sick. so many wars and he is worried about who wins sports?

  • @utdfortreble Nothing natural about queers, sorry to burst your bubble..

  • @astrolifter nope, nothing unnatural. god doesn't exist, and if he did he wouldn't be as evil as you religious nutcases pretend he is. and if jesus was the son of god, then gays would not be persecuted as acceptance and tolerance of others even if they acted against the scriptures was his main message. sorry to burst your bubble

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople

    > Religion is genetic, like homosexuality

    > People choose their sexuality

So by kneeling on the field and calling himself blessed, Tim Tebow (more like teabagger) is demonstrating humility? Is everyone else cursed because they aren't him?

Tim Tebow sure demonstrates humility by telling everybody how his touchdowns are given to him by God! LOL.

  • @Grawpify He's just being God's legs on the field, yo. It would be REALLY embarrassing for god if he has to run and pass himself. If God was real he would not have to go to the Philippines!

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople DEAL for me at least. also i dont give a shit if you say bliss you but i do give shit when politician talk about religion and if they talk about religion they should not say im christian they should specify their denomination and explain how that denomination influences them

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople Would you find it offensive if I was wearing a shirt that said: "GOD ISNT REAL"?

  • @MrLotharofhillpeople No one's advocating forcing anyone to do anything. We're just pointing how extremely stupid it is to go around parading the fact that you're an illogical moron. I mean if your'e a grown adult and still think that the magical wizard in the sky is real, then there's something wrong with you.

  • Tebow has more atheists fans than he could probably ever imagine.

    Atheists for Tebow dot com

    Pass it on

  • Keep religion private.

  • Anders Behring Breivik is a christian too.

"With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion." -- Steven Weinberg

  • lol. Are these guys for real? This has to be joke. LOL. These guys look like they blow other dudes at rest stops, most of all the middle one.

  • @cikenberry3 They are neo-con douchebags.

  • Great thing about the trendy thing alot of people just go with whats in and dont hold on to what truely matters.

  • We live in a free country and people are free to speak how they like. Its sad that people cant just be happy for him and get a life of there own.

  • @puffyclouddd1 What's to be happy about? that is he is outspoken and does ok at football? Yay for tebow, now let's move on, shall we?

  • Lol at Christians getting butthurt. I bet if Tebow was Muslim and he would get down on his knees and put his head on the floor everyone would be bitching about it and most certainly wouldn't bring up the whole "war on religion" bullshit. You only care about your constitutional rights as long as it coincides with your white supremacist mentality.and your pagan religion. Btw merry Christmas you materialist worshiping pigs.

  • @aurash91 yeah cos muslims are fucks...simple...

  • @GSN2007 Muslims and Christians are the same shit, except Muslims are more dedicated to their religion than any fat fuck Christian will ever be. They pray 5 times a day, travel thousands of miles to walk around a fucking rock and will murder you if you talk shit about their prophet. Christians don't even read their Bible because they're too busy worshiping their corporate overlords and materialistic bullshit or they would be as savage as the Muslims, just like when they burned witches.

  • @aurash91 glass half full buddy, nobody worships religion properly, christians are turning into disrespectful fags, and muslims are becoming more extremists thinking killing other religions and using violence and "and will murder you if you talk shit about their prophet" - thats just fucked up, that shit aint no dedication....im christian but humble and honest enough to say that our people are fucked up, but u people TOO are arrogant fucks who to forcefully turn people to islam through voilence.

  • @aurash91 If he threw down a prayer mat and started praying people would throw shit at him, and boo him, but since he's jesus's golden football boy, everybody luuuuurrrrves him.

  • this bill guy sounds arrogant as fuck. it was painful to watch this whole thing

  • Excellent stuff guys.

  • RELIGION IS JUST STUPID AND USELESS

  • @reym613 It is useful for controlling people.

  • These guys are a little creepy.

  • The problem is not that he does it, its that he does it obnoxiously. Most players after a touchdown will do something to praise, the vast majority of athletes pray before a game and on the sidelines during a game. America sees it as a problem because he holds up the game doing it. After a TD u r supposed to get off the field, he bows in front of cameras for attention. He is a great kid but I don't think in an age of religious freedom it is right to do something like that.

  • @anonymousworld513 "He is a great kid but I don't think in an age of religious freedom it is right to do something like that.", how on earth does that statement make sense? If it were truly religious freedom he should be able to pull out a mat and start praying to Mecca if he wants. That is kind of the whole issue here, everyone in the US is trying to take away religious freedom and every other freedom the US was founded on. It's pretty sick and twisted, 235 years ago their was a war over it.

  • I love Tebow!!! He is a SEXY Christian!!!!

  • @TigerMichelleN Gross... there is no such thing. Being a christian automatically makes a person extremely un-sexy.

  • @nschenk Dude let me tell you something. You waste time bashing Tebow, Christians. Tim Tebow makes a difference in peoples lives. He has a positive impact on people. What good have you done for the world? What hope do you bring? Also Jesus Christ died over 2000 years ago and is STILL REMEMBERED. You will die and be FORGOTTEN.

  • @Gbiz100 "Also Jesus Christ died over 2000 years ago and is STILL REMEMBERED. You will die and be FORGOTTEN."

What makes you think he ever lived? By the way, it seems to be fairly arbitrary what's remembered. The ant in Aesop's fable The ant and the grasshopper is still remembered, and that story is much older than the Jesus myth. And it didn't even need the help of centuries of imperialistic warfare to spread.

  • @Gbiz100 "What good have you done for the world? What hope do you bring?"

How is that even relevant? Are you of the opinion that only perfect people can point out faults in others, or problems with society? Do you think we should fire all traffic cops who ever got a parking ticket because they're hypocrites?

Tom Tebow is acting like an idiot. He should therefore expect to have that behavior discussed in public. It's that simple.

  • @Gnomefro Your comparison is lacking to say the least. The only one acting like an idiot is you, trying to argue that Tebow is an idiot because he prays and believes in God is pretty dumb. He helps the needy, has a foundation that gives and helps others. Has an orphanage.Built a hospital, Gives back. Takes dying people to his games & pays for it. You are a small minded person. Go make a difference before you die and stop wasting time on USELESS arguements & criticism.

  • @Gbiz100 Christians are stupid people who thrust their beliefs on others as if they were objective truth. They are BELIEFS meaning what you believe, which is subjective only. Jesus never existed, and his myth was constructed out of many former myths for control of the roman people. Most people will be forgotten, including you, asswipe.

  • @nschenk "Jesus never existed" As a wise thinker of our time once said: "Are you serious bro?" Historians such as Bart Ernhart an agnostic by the way agrees that Jesus did in fact exist. Without Jesus Christianity wouldn't exist. How could a lie spread all over the world? It couldn't. You need to look up the historal accounts of Jesus before commenting. So if we're so stupid then you must have proof then so lets hear it what proof and evidence do you have that atheism is accurate and correct?

  • Crap competition, pats will crush them

  • Jhn. 15:18 "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you." Mar. 13:13

"..you will be hated by all for my name's sake." -Jesus Christ

The secular world only want's to hear the name of Jesus Christ being used in one way and one way alone, and that is to express disgust. Publicliy giving honour to Christ just makes their skin crawl.

  • @fellowservant34 - Actually, thank the religious right republican wallstreet war monger gay bashing 700 Club christians for distorting Jesus Christ.

  • @fellowservant34

    Word!

  • @fellowservant34 but god isnt real

  • @fellowservant34 Why would they do that for a mythical creature? I don't feel that way about Zeus or Isis. Jesus is just another name in mythology, but I can understand why someone would react that way, since it's a bit arrogant to think that some magical, invisible person is granting me favors, and thinks I'm special.

  • @fellowservant34 "Publicliy giving honour to Christ just makes their skin crawl."

Nah. It's the public display of stupidity that makes our skin crawl. Here we have a clown who thinks the creator of the universe helps him win football games - except when he doesn't. It's also laughable to call such people humble. What on earth is humble about thinking the creator of the universe steps in and produces a good life for you while making children starve in Africa.

  • @Gnomefro Tebow never claimed God helps him win footbal games so you're really uninformed. Secondly his humility derives from the fact that he realizes his source of every achievement in life down to the breath in his body is a gift from God. While others express pride and say, 'look at me,", Tebow says, "look at him."

As for starving children, look that's a whole different conversation. Get educated on what the Bible says about the result of sin in this world. Then read the Good News.

  • @fellowservant34 No, it's just very egotistical to think god is granting one special favors... and to win a football game?? Puhleeeeze!

  • @nschenk Who says God is granting special favors to win football games?... You really need to read more carefully.

  • Football, religion, rednecks, some of my worst nightmares. When I retire I shall move to Nebraska and I'll attempt to teach Radical Creationists evolution.

  • @Messmaster08 you hate football, you hate morals, and you hate some good country boys that can fix just about anything, and would do anything for a friend. hmm bro. you got some serious issues. really, i'm 100% positive you have never met a college loving, christ loving redneck. ever in ur entire life. so until you come down south. and talk to one of us, you have no reason to talk.

  • @Messmaster08 "Irony and sarcasm and cynicism is really just cowardice." I would also add smugness (you know, the quality of feeling self-satisfaction and superiority--the quality that those on the Left have perfected because they practice it so much).

Thanks for providing such a good example.

  • @koyunbaba73 Smugness is a trademark of any right-wing christian. Smugness because they think they are "saved". Leftists can be smug at times, but only because they use logic and reason to argue issues, and they know that even though the lowbrow imbeciles they are trying to argue with might not ever "get" what they are trying to tell them, that they walk away from the argument knowing the TRUTH, made up of REAL information.

  • @nschenk See the irony of your statement (which you missed), is that no Christian I've ever met is as convinced of himself being saved, as a Leftist is convinced of himself being intellectually superior to the right wing imbeciles they have to put up with. And as a double irony, here I am (a right wing imbecilic Jew) explaining the irony of all of this to an intellectually superior Leftist. Good heavens!

  • @koyunbaba73 What you inserted into my words was the people on the Left are superior. I said they look at and know real information. If that makes them superior, so be it. As for you "explaining all this" you did nothing but give your opinion. The only thing that would make a right-winger inferior to a Leftie is them holding their "beliefs" above the objective, real facts about the world. Christians, Jews and Muslims are all in the same unfortunate category for me: LOST & CLUELESS

  • @nschenk Well, it sounds like you have your mind made up then. And I think we can agree on one thing: No Christian, Muslim, or Jew will ever be able to teach you anything. So best of luck to you, I wish you much happiness and success.

  • False. Fairytale. Toolbag.

  • Have you guy's seen his press conferences? Tebow might be gay.

His lisp was stereotypical... and hand mannerisms. Very amusing.

Another riteous Christian who might be gay after all. Will you guys be able to handle it?

I do think Tebow is an amazing person.

  • Religion is dying.. the sooner people stop believing, the better. Religion equals war, greed and never ending suffering.

  • @chechnya I have noticed other negative comments from you. I want you to know I am here to help. Write this on your calendar: "Every knee will bow". If not while you live, then after you die, you will bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ in the great white throne judgement. If you die without Christ, expect to stand in that judgement. What will you say? Will you say you didn't know? Will you lie to The Almighty? The books will be opened. Are you ready to give account of your life?

  • @gonetoworkbbackin5mi I wish some people, like you, could step back and actually read what you write. Maybe you'd realize how batshit crazy people like you are.

  • @gonetoworkbbackin5mi I'm going to let you in on a secret. The one thing that Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have in common is a place in the religion that believes that only those who have their particular secret decoder ring get into God's treehouse. Which faith is correct? In that regard, I don't think that any of them are.

It's far more likely that, if there is, in fact, a God, that God simply wants people to be decent to one another, without regard for differences between us.

  • Tebow isn't that good lol.

  • Amen!

  • Tim Tebow living as a Christian should, with every human action that he does as a worship act toward the Trinitarian God of Christianity. He gives glory to God and especially toward Christ, whose saving work on the cross saved him and me and countless others by our faith in Jesus. As we look toward Tebow, do not admire him or even worship him, but look beyond him where he is constantly pointing, to Jesus Christ. As Psalm 115 starts out: "Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory"

  • @633562 We're not the same brand of Christianity, but I whole heartedly agree with you. I admire a man who does the unpopular when the unpopular is still the right thing to do.

  • @Dragdamar How is bowing on a field to a religion and soaking up the applause/cheer/etc the "right thing to do"?

  • Taunt a Jew for his faith - GO TO JAIL NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN

Taunt a Muslim for his faith - GENERAL SHITSTORM

Taunt a Christian for his faith - Sure! Want some popcorn?

  • @superlucci Of course only individuals have rights. An individual should be able to marry another consenting adult. The question I ponder is does government have a role in telling consenting adult individuals whom they can and cannot marry? The answer is no.

  • Now I remember why I unsubscribed.

  • @superlucci What would be wrong with calling it marriage? Again, all you have is an incredibly petty and bigoted semantic argument. That is all it is: semantics. Honestly, what is wrong with you? You have no good reason to keep gay couples from marrying other than "don't call it marriage because they do not meet my criteria for it". That is bogus.

  • @cbl2988 Marriage in this country is between a man and a woman. That doesnt mean that gays cant go to their state legislature and ask them to pass legislation to create a new institution, with whatever name you come up with.

Then ask for the same benefits.

I can use all the same arguments against you. Thinking what I say is bigoted, yet you want to force your way into marriage which we have already defined. Go make your own institution.

  • @superlucci If they have all of the same characteristics and features, then why not call it what it is? What happened to calling a spade a spade? Why do you have a problem with consenting adults entering private contracts with each other? It is there right to do so, they should not have to ask for special legislation to create a new institution. Hell, it might actually redeem the bankrupt institution all together. It is not governments place to tell consenting adults (individuals)...cont

  • @cbl2988 They dont have the same features, 1 is man and woman, 1 is man and man or woman and woman. That right there isnt the same feature.

Straight marriage is a spade. Having something else in their is not calling a spade a spade.

I dont have a problem with consenting adults, I dont even care about marriage. If they legalized marriage of all sexes I wouldnt give a damn. I am only stating that the gay agenda is based on a false premise, and until they figure that out, i dont take em seriously

  • @superlucci What false premise? They do not even care what it is even called, they just want their "marriages" to have equal recognition and treatment under the law. No one is arguing that there is zero distinction between same-sex marriage and heterosexual marriage, just who gets married to whom. It is still a type of "marriage" whether you agree with it or not. Are female priests (pastors, ministers, etc.) not really "priests" because the word priest used to only denote a male figure?

  • @superlucci Your argument is trivial semantic issue based on one definition of a word. I already told you that language evolves and that means words change meanings as well. There is no strict, singular definition for every single word throughout all of time. If that were so, we would not be speaking modern, American English. That includes marriage. It is no longer just a religious matter. It is a legal matter, and in the United States, we are supposed to have equal treatment under law...cont

  • @cbl2988 I can use the same argument against you.

What gives you the right to change a word because you feel like it?

If our side wants to keep it the same, but your side wants to change it, why should we let it for your side?

You already have the same rights as straights with regards to marriage. Just because you dont use it doesnt mean you never had it in the first place

  • @superlucci Direct example to show the flaw in your argument. Define the word "Mistress." Hell, look up the Hot For Words video on the subject. But, it is a very direct example of a word changing meanings. In fact, it's an example of a word making a complete, total change in meanings, becoming the exact opposite of the original meaning.

  • @CaitiffFTW I know that words change. But that still doesnt mean you automatically get to change words at your own beckon call.

  • @superlucci Then, how did "Bad" come to mean "Good" in the 1980s?

  • @CaitiffFTW What the fuck does this have anything to do with anything

  • @superlucci You mean, how did an example of a word having its definition changed completely, on the whim of a person not even 30 years ago have something to do with your argument that words don't change definitions in that manner? Wow...... That question really does expose your lack of insight.

  • @superlucci cont... In other words, the government cannot tell us whom we can or cannot get married to. If a man wants to marry another man, the government cannot bar him from doing so on the basis of sexual orientation, especially when allowing a straight man to marry a woman: a double standard (unequal treatment under the law). You are the real collectivist here, not me. You are the one dividing people into groups and telling them what they can and cannot do based purely on what group...cont

  • @cbl2988 Your argument basically goes like this.

Since government passes a law that states everybody who meets a certain requirement gets something, that you as a gay person who doesnt happen to meet the requirement, by your own willingness to not fulfill the requirement, must force the government to change its ways for the particular law.

  • @superlucci "By your own willingness....." Every bit of any argument you've made on this subject died with those words. Being gay is no more a choice than being black. Your credibility is now gone. Please, stop speaking.

  • @CaitiffFTW Whether its a choice is irrelevant. Go make your own institution if thats the case.

    Seriously.

  • @superlucci Dude, I'm straight. But, I can understand the tactic. Ad hominem is all you have left, after all. Frankly, at this point, you're making me laugh. And, that would be fine, except that you're the exact example that liberals will cling to when they portray conservatives as being intolerant and stuck in the past. Please, for the good of the entire conservative ideology, stop embarrassing us, you daft twit.

  • @CaitiffFTW Oh please.

I have given you facts and logic. Gays already have the same rights. Just because they dont like them doesnt mean they didnt have them in the first place.

    Im done.

And now you insult me, so much for your superiority.

I am ending this conversation, reply back if you wish, but I will not to you.

  • @superlucci You haven't presented a single objective fact. Your logic is flawed. You started the insulting, by calling me, and I'm quoting you, an "intolerant bastard." I've never claimed to be "superior" to anyone. I will, however, say once more, for the record, that you are a daft twit. I would prefer if you don't reply, since every word from your keyboard hurts the actual conservative ideology.

  • @superlucci cont...you happen to identify them with and you are assigning rights/privileges based solely on group identity. That is the crudest form of collectivism I have seen. It is absolutely disgusting. Let individuals do what they want as long as they do not harm the rights of other individuals. A gay person getting married to another does no such thing. Do not treat them differently because of what group they may or may not belong to.

  • @cbl2988 We already let you do what you want. If you want to get *married*, go get your own institution.

You have the right to do that. Just as we have a right to not let you into marriage contracts because you refuse to fulfill the requirements which any human can do

  • @superlucci cont...who they can or cannot marry. I will grant you that it was originally a religious institution, but now it is also a legal institution. We are all equal under the law and have the right to equal treatment regardless of race, creed, gender, nationality, or sexual orientation. Priesthood is also a religious institution that used to be defined as a purely male institution, but then some churches started ordaining women. Was it okay for those churches to challenge the norm...cont

  • @superlucci cont...and "change" the definition of priesthood? What if some churches decided to start marrying gay couples (some of them do) and called their private contracts "marriages" (gasp!)? It would essentially be the same type of deal. Why is one okay, but not the other and who anointed people like you with the authority to decide? People have the right to enter whatever kind of voluntary contract they want with each other as long as they do not interfere with other people's rights...cont

  • @superlucci cont...through force or fraud. Gay marriage harms no one, and it might actually save the institution all together. You have an irrational and extremely petty semantic argument that does not make any sense. Your only issue is what they call it. Do they not have the right to call their contracts whatever they damn well want to call it? I have yet to see you demonstrate why gays should not be allowed to have the same rights as you (enter a private contract with the one you love)...cont

  • @superlucci cont...I have yet to see an even remotely rational or good argument at all. You are the one advocating the limiting of these people's freedoms and the outright denial of their rights as human beings. Therefore, it is incumbent upon you to demonstrate where government derives the power to decide who can or who cannot get married. You must justify your position. You must show us all why the govt ought to do so. A weak semantic argument is not going to cut it...cont

  • @superlucci cont...language evolves. Get over it.

  • TEBOW PWNS ATHEISTS !!!!

AND U LOSERS CANT STAND HIM HAHAHAH GO TO CHURCh

  • @gqunit69 That's just it. Tebow would never claim to "own" anyone. He's a humble guy, and happy for every day. And, by the way, I'm an atheist, and I consider myself a Tim Tebow fan. I'm not a Broncos fan, but I really like Tebow. He's a true class act.

  • I do not like Tim Tebow, because he's a dirty Bronco (San Diego Born and Bred Raider Hater here), but I RESPECT Tim Tebow for the man he is.

He's earned respect for what he does. I don't have to like him, but I certainly should respect him.

  • So the religion we are discussing is football?

Something seems to have got lost in this one.

  • @zvi303 So the Lord did sayeth unto Tebow: "Throw that long bomb. And, Tebow obeyeth the Lord, and threw a touchdown. And, the Lord saw that it was good."

Football is a religion in this country. Hell, it's a religion all over the world. We just differ from what we mean when we say "football."

  • @CaitiffFTW I still prefer baseball.

  • 2 words - Liberal Hypocracy

  • @leeuniverse the fact that homophobes, such as yourself, reduce all of your arguments to a trivial sementiic issue is pretty sad and dishonest. I don't think homosexuals care what it's called, they just want to have the same rights and recognition as everyone else. Is that okay with you?

  • @cbl2988 Gay people already have the same rights as straights.

There is no such thing as gay rights because there is no such thing as collective rights. We all have rights as individual human beings living in the United States. We dont get extra rights based on our sexual orientation.

Straight people have a right to marry opp sex.

Straight people dont have a right to marry same sex

Gay people have right to marry opp sex.

Gay people dont have right to marry same.

    You have the same rights
