There's some people that if they get something good in their lives like an i-phone they feel out of place because they are programed to be losers, so they have to stick to inferior devices that's the only way they can get in their comfortable zone.
i called verizon yesterday what i cant understand is if its a home phone why is it with verizon wireless and you have to have a 2yr contract help me out here
because verizon wireless is expanding their services, you have an option of 2 year, 1 year, or month to month however the price is cheapest at the 2 year contract and month to month is full retail price. hope that helps
i agree with almost everyone , this is pretty worthless , but if u have alot of spare money u can just by this for ur home to make it look nice and high tech haha
Just wait ....there is no reason it can't be. This seems to be their first attmempt at putting their toes in the water. If they are smart, it will be enhanced. Since they launched, they added internet radio for background music based on blogosphere feedback. Give it time.
It is a VoIP device. If you have a wifi router or physical ethernet conection to plug it into, it will work no matter where you are...except for the 911 stuff that is. calling 911 from the phone when you are on travel will send the police to your home.
This product just irritates me every time I see the current commercial for it. Why? Because this was a copy to the iriver Wave, which derived from Korea, and was awarded in CES 2009. And the price for this is ridiculous! $35 per month? Hey, guess what, theres something called a cellphone! Yeah! And something called a laptop/ netbook! Whoa, I wonder what will be invented next, a cellphone w/ bluetooth enabled?? Hmm...
i must say, its pretty refreshing to see the the author of the video comment. Most phone reviewers usually dont even reply to the comments that are questions. Kudos to you. Btw, good video.
Thanks. I try to keep up with the most recent 2 or 3 videos I post, but eventually it just gets too hard. With all the videos we have up, we get 40 to 50 comments a day in total. No way to keep up with that.
I love it! Sweet, quick quick access as i'm walking out the back door.
I don't get the net-noise about the price. I paid $129 for a dumb digital frame, and that was the lower end of decent frames. For $70 more, I get a widget device and something to let me broadcast messages to my kids or quickly buy movie tickets. Oh, and a phone!
$35 is steep but isn't vonage $25 for the same service? Verizon seems to think it deserves $10 premium. I'd give them $5 advantage over vonage.
I think it is a great idea but but the monthly fee is way too high for what you are getting. I mean, think about it. You already have a plan with or without extras, such as data, so adding this is like buying an 'expensive' phone plus a new line with data. That is just a rough comparison but, for me at least, it seems like too much money to burn on a device like this.
I saw another review of the hub and it looked pretty bad but your review made it look good. but I would never have my cell phone ring there and at home.

Really cool home application and interface. It seems to have much of the functional aspects of business phones in a more user friendly setup.

Interesting idea but I fell that it is way to expensive to become practical.

I agree. $35/mo is pretty steep, even with unlimited home calling.
