@4lka survival is deep but his stuff is mainly dark rather than subtle. Still a top producer. Calibre is number one for me. Alix Perez had calibre feeling the heat (in calibres own words) with his first few releases but no one else has really produced such top tunes regularly since the arrival of calibre. Lenzman for me is 2nd behind calibre at the moment but no one has taken that top spot off him.

@C4NTH3M4N Its called intelligent drum & bass, alot more chilled out and atmospheric, more old school too cos these days its murging too much with that dubstep bassline :( its definatly my favorite type of DnB to be honest, check out LTJ Bukem, most of his tracks are intelligent dnb,
