I've done it with mw3, succes but when i try to start the game it says:

@MrIwesseli Try going into your steam folder and deleting the ClientRegistry.blob file, this usually works, although will force you to re-download an update from steam (Shouldn't take long on a relatively good internet connection) and it should work after that.

for openvpn program to work properly on win7 you have to right click on the openvpngui shortcut or exe and go to properties > compatability. change the compatibility mode to windows xp service pack 3. only took me 3 hours to figure that out. hopefully i save some pain and agony with this post.
